First off, let me say that I'm an old dude who doesn't have the reflexes that I used to. I recently bought a PS5 and MLB the Show which is the first console/game that I've had in 12+ years.
I've been playing All-Star level, and win my fair share of games due to pitching, but my batting averages are horrible....I average about 5 hits a game. . I transitioned hitting to Veteran last week, and now it's too easy and I'm getting 15+ hits per game.
Has anyone else encountered a situation where one level is too hard, but the next one down is too easy, and if so how did you fix it?
I'm playing zone hitting, and haven't touched any sliders.
My win/loss percentage is pretty realistic, I just want to have fun while generating somewhat realistic stats.
Thoughts...Suggestions?
