Baserunning has been terrible for years and they refuse to address it.

May have a solution for that - most baserunning issues can be addressed by using classic baserunning controls (ensuring to avoid L1). For example that runner sliding into 3rd should be directed home (press triangle then d-pad down) well before he nears 3rd base.

Give classic a go - do some tests in custom practice. You’ll never look

I might try it to see it that works but typically i select the runner at second and send him home with X. I don't use the L1 if I don't have to because sometimes the commands get screwed up and they either don't go to the next base or the keep running for some dumb reason.
The really odd thing about it is it happens mostly on ground [censored] through the holes in the infield. Sometimes you'll get it on line drives as well but either way it's infuriating that the game is taking away runs from the user simply because of poor programming

I'm not saying you can't hit home runs on a contract swing. I've done it irl but it's the rate that it happens that's annoying to me. If they did some kind of percentage like there's a 10% chance on contact swings, 50/50 on normal and 80/20 on power swings i could probably live with that.

Don't you know they're famous for their shady gimmicks. They say one thing to get you to buy the game and it plays good. At first then they patch the game, make quiet little changes and completely alter the game post launch.

Can I add quick sell duplicates to your list of things i wish i could do on the website

Yeah the contact swing has to be addressed at some point. I played a guy in the last event. Had me down 6-0 in the final frame. He contact swung the whole time so I said f it I'll do it back. Ended up winning 7-6. It's nuts that I was even able to do that simply by contact swinging instead of normal swings which i was timing well and getting good pci placement. is what it is i suppose

No what's more irritating is when you slice a line drive like that and the outfielder has Usain bolt closing speed and magically catches it.

Their communication has been horrible. I should know, it's my profession. As evidenced by other threads and responses, I don't think they take criticism too well. A public relations team can't be affected by criticism. They have to rise above it. I don't know Ramone's official title, but I assume he's part of the PR team. They really need better communication, and not just for their promotions.

Frankly, I'm appalled at all the things that don't work as they should. There are so many things not working as intended.

Pretty sure Ramone is nothing more than a glorified spokesman. A salesman of sorts.
