Lol, i love Betts this year. I can't explain it and was concerned after he got a downgrade update before last, but he's back in the lineup. One of my only players still hitting above .300 on HOF+ difficulty. I really hope we get a 99 Betts again this year either a Finest or an 2018 MVP.
Before conquest was around or back when we only had 1 conquest map extra innings used to be the best way to grind offline. One guy had a team called the Yettis that was all catchers in every position. So, you could just rack up stats against them. I haven't played it in a few years, but when I did that's what it was good for.
I was lucky enough to pull Mookie Betts earlier this week and planned on selling, but he’s been on fire for me. I think I’ve played 9 RS games with him and he has 7 home runs with 4 against lefties despite having only 65 power vs lefty’s. I’m not sure if it’s his swing or his quirks, but he crushes the ball for me. It also helps that he plays fantastic defense and has solid speed. His hitting stats aren’t crazy like some of the other options, but highly recommend giving him a shot.

How many stubbs do you have? I was surprised by how cheap it was to purchase silver/gold players and get Finest Degrom via the exchange. If you have the patience to go with all silver players it will cost you around 50k or less on buy orders, but will require 250-300 silver 78-79 rated players. If you purchase gold 84's then you can finish it for around 80k which is the way I went. If you go with diamond players you should be able to find plenty for 5k buy orders that you can exchange and will cost you 120,000. If you don't like him you can always sell and make some profit. You will also make a nice chunk of stubbs back from the Affinity packs, and you get a couple of other diamond players like Al Leiter.
