After seeing the feature premiere calendar for The Show 22 and not seeing a feature premiere strictly dedicated to franchise mode, I will say I’m quite angry and disappointed in SDS for them neglecting a major game mode that the older generation (myself included) grew up playing. The part that pisses me off the most is that there is such a large outpour from franchise mode players saying each year it should get updated, but SDS denies to acknowledge it. With such a large outpour from the community, how can they not acknowledge it?! Just goes to show that franchise mode in MLB The Show is a dying a slow and painful death, and within a couple years it will be completely out of the game. When that happens, I can for sure say SDS will lose a major chunk of the community that strictly plays franchise mode (including me). Why don’t you actually LISTEN to your fans for once and update the game mode that your fans have been begging you to update for the past 5-6 years? Up until The Show 16, it’s been downhill ever since.
