Yeah. I'm a little irritated. I could have played when the servers went down. Now they're up I'm very limited on time this week and may end up missing getting to my first boss pack by only 2k points.
I'll try and grind to that finish tonight, but it would be easier if they had extended that to the finish...

Network error here as well. And I'm 4k XP away from getting my first boss all year. I'm definitely a little frustrated as I'll be limited the next couple days on playtime

This brings up an interesting, and irritating, point. There's no middle grade LS any more. The only way now to get those 2 is to pull them, buy stubs, or flip like mad.
I have all the others, but even IF I pulled Witt, JRam, Skenes, etc and sold them now it doesn't even get me in spitting distance of the top 2. It's really disappointing to know I'm not going to finish LS this year, almost no matter who I pull.
I've got around 150k and no time to flip.

I mean, to be fair, he's given up at least 3 runs a game in five of his last 6 games. He has decent overall numbers but nothing standout.
Sonny Gray actually has a more legitimate gripe about being left off. But without doing a deep dive on them all I can't say there's anyone he absolutely should be in over.

Same here. I thought it was kind of a "last hurrah" kind of selection for someone on their way out. Not just to randomly add one more player. Feels cheesy having it be Harper.

Yeah, I threw a ticket in but don't expect anything til after the weekend; which is fine. Though I'll probably only get the 3k for this time and not the others I'm sure I missed out on. Oh well

Yeah I only got 2k stubs for completing the AL West just now. @sds_joek_psn I've heard of this happening quite a bit to people. Maybe something to pass on to the team.
I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten the full 5k it shows for any of the 4 divisions I've completed. But this is the first one I actually really did the math and also didn't have any other transactions going

I tend to have a grind team and am slowly working to complete all the TAs (not the #1 fan portion, just the other set of tasks that gets both captains).
I have 2 or 3 teams I shoot for at once and when 1 is complete I switch that team's out for another.
Back before the A's abandoned Oakland (FJF) I always had an Oakland team and only used players of their cards. It was beautiful with Rickey leading off every game. I miss those days...

No lag here either, and let me say... I typically stay away from Showdowns but since it was Sonny Gray I had to do it. And they were really clever on this.

I had that with a couple cards last year too. First card I raked, then got a higher card and tanked. It's weird but it happens

Oh, I agree completely. My point was just that Prior... saying SDS was in charge of their own budget and so it's all their fault was not necessarily true. Sony hamstrings them, and by default, us because of those failures you mentioned.

The prime beef here is a lack of upgrades in graphics and gameplay standards to keep pace with the proven technological state of the industry. So, that doesn't require imagination, but just a will to hire the talent needed to maintain the game at the peak level of technology. And even if imagination is needed, truth remains that plenty of customers have handed SDS a roadmap on a silver platter, that the company has rejected.

Sony owns SDS and doubtless has huge say in the size of their payroll. Let's be honest this game is just a blip on Sony's spreadsheet. It's not a choice the employees at SDS made. I'm sure they would love more help to keep up with everything.
And just because you provided them a "roadmap" of ideas doesn't mean a) that your ways are actually what people want, or b) that they have the resources to do them.
You don't even play the freaking game, so please stop acting like you know better than everyone about what needs to be done.

Yep. I generally don't get too up in arms about the state of the game (other than the exploiters, who absolutely should be punished), but the primary XP path feels like it's just a joke this year. It's kept me from really feeling engaged.

I don't remember the flow of programs from last year, so can't compare it that way, but I wouldn't expect much. They (probably) have a huge drop planned for around the All Star break and anything between now and then MAY be just filler.
I could be wrong of course, but that's my guess.

Yeah, I don't even pay attention to the main XP path much anymore, because it's so frustrating to see I'm only going to get a single standard pack or something similar next. Even if it was a 3 or 5 pack it would at least be palatable in between the bigger rewards. A single pack is just a joke though.

Was in a similar situation the other day with lots of packs to open but knowing I'm essentially down to those two big ones I need. (I didn't get either, of course).
What's most frustrating in this situation to me is the fact that I can't see myself "earning" either by selling all the cards I get from the packs. Them raising the limit on their price last year really killed that for me. Now instead of having SOME hope that I could get there eventually, they just feel out of reach. It's really disappointing.

I think, in general, diamonds and maybe even gold don't get pulled even if they're injured. I know for sure the gatekeeper types don't. It would be nice if they were consistent but I also get it as it would throw off the marketplace big time if all of a sudden Judge was pulled from LS...

Servers have been very slow all day. I've been disconnected quite a bit, and I usually don't have that issue.
I'm afraid to open packs as I don't want to disconnect mid rip.
On the positive side, I finally finished the P. ONeil 3 hit moment.
