I would love to sit and have a long lunch with Tim Kirkjian. That guy knows so many obscure baseball stories! I don't think the stories would play well with the quick pace of this game though.

Thoughts on Murph and Mattingly getting kept out?
I get the appeal of both personally but I think Dale Murphy's numbers over a longer period of time and the consistency for a good 10 or so years of it should get him in. He also had some speed for a bit.
Mattingly just misses if it were up to me. It's sad, because he really was good for a few years, but there just isn't enough there in my opinion. He had like 6 really good years and a few more average ones.
And before anyone brings up War or any of that, I know they're similar there. I'm not a huge fan of the new age stats and don't think that should be a critical aspect of who gets in and doesn't. It can help, but shouldn't be the only "gotcha" for an argument

Would be crazy if they did Raleigh AND Judge. That would explode some people's brains.
I do think they'll stick with multiple though in case one falters.

I just want to see them make a viable Team Affinity for the Negro Leagues to make using their cards just as worthwhile as any other card at any time.
Oh, and the full repeatable USA conquest map please with halfway decent rewards for the time it takes.

I don't have a favorite current one I listen to regularly, but I do enjoy whenever Tim Kurkjian is in the booth. The man has a great story about EVERYTHING!

Andy Pettite was fairly consistent and solid, but his number of postseason games and totals are the result of compilation and time. Not dominance. For postseason dominance there are quite a few that would rank much higher, i.e Koufax all time or Bumgarner from similar era at least. Just to name a couple.

I understand not carrying over the stubs. I really do. But being able to use them for SOMETHING would be nice, like you suggested. I don't know what, but something.

I started a new mini season not long ago, and so far the stats seem to be accurate to the games I've played in season.
I know we complain about the things that need fixed, but if it's truly fixed for good I want to show my appreciation for that as an old stat geek.
Now if only there was a screen we could pull up in season to see those stats for each player on the team between games that would be great. Would like to write down my players' stats at end of season and choose MVP, CY, etc for my team.

I think the Mets get in by the skin of their teeth and then either bomb out early or make a really deep run. Could go either way.
