Anyone remember the old Nintendo game called Basebrawls or something like that?
Basically players in the future (about now time frame) were replaced by robots and on close plays were settled by the robots fighting veach other. The more games you won the more you could upgrade your 'players'
Loads of fun!

I'm offline only basically, and yes... All Star is pushing it for me. I likely won't even try for it as most likely I will need 20 plus games to get it if I'm being honest

Why they locked non sellable items as the only prize available on repeatable maps is beyond me.
Ridiculous move. I'd rather have a ten pack of cards and a few stubs or xp

Have you messed with the sliders in settings at all? I'm pretty sure there's controls for stadium announcer, crowd noise, etc. might be able to adjust to what you need.
Also, if you turn off (or down) the broadcast announcers the stadium sounds really stand out much better.
Just a thought...

Just curious if it happened to anyone else but the font color for unread topics is now different for me. I'm incredibly colourblind and this new shade makes it very hard to read the titles.
Did I do something wrong or is this an update everyone got?

I was actually thinking this when I saw they had expanded some of the announcer/pa announcer options.
I can't speak Spanish to save my life, but I know for a large part of the Show community this would be a huge win. I hope they do so in the near future for you.

I got Skubal. My son got squat though.

I mean, to an extent of course you're right. But the gameplay worked and we had a clean immersion into an incredibly detailed (for the time) baseball experience.
Maybe the bar wasn't set as high as what we have now, but for the capabilities of the time they really (pardon the pun) knocked it out of the park.

Incidentally, I got mine on the PS5 and pulled Tarik Skubal!
I now have the Tigers collection locked in. My first of the season.

My son got his on the switch last night. He was trying the wrong place too. It isn't the tab that says "shop"
You have to click on the tab at the bottom that just shows your stub count and then scroll to the bottom of the screen that shows up.

Definitely the greatest pure baseball game I've ever played. I enjoyed that game so frigging much.

Mini seasons are the best month 1 repeatable content in years, if not ever.

I keep reading about mini season being a hot mess. Seems like if you're fortunate enough to have it go smooth it's ok. If not though, is a frustrating waste of time.
I haven't yet tried myself (though I plan to start classic this weekend). But they really need to get it working correctly to be a viable repeatable content.

I'm happy for you Dolenz! I miss having a team to root for and get excited about like that. Still love the game though, and it's so cool to see one of the regulars here have something go their way team-wise.

Any idea how long it's available for?
