That's funny. I did the exact same thing with Marte. I'm looking at him now and realizing I missed an op at stubs but truthfully I'm happy with what I got for him.

I'm doing great offline w LS Corbin Carroll. I don't have a ton of the special cards yet so otherwise not much to share here.

Did they take away being able to negotiate club/player options on the contracts w free agents?
I don't see it anywhere. I don't think I did a franchise last year but decided to start a Pirate one this yr and noticed that.
Any other big differences I should know about?

Yeah. I'm a conquest fan myself. Would really like a repeatable one again soon.

Pretty sure it's to push DQ. I'm not a fan of this either. I usually do the USA map 5 - 10 times a year. Maybe more

For what it's worth, I'm the opposite. You can always look at your total 'vs CPU' stats from the main screen, but if they've isolated CORRECTLY the stats in the current mini season that is awesome to me. I will fill up a notebook with my main players' stats at end of each season if that's the case.

Not a dumb question, but as stated above you would need to make it fresh in game.

I still enjoy buying packs now and then with my son. I still have all my cards from 80s and 90s too.
There's not a ton of places around me that sell packs casually though so I don't get as many as I otherwise probably would.

Are mini season stats still wonky? Last year they were all over the place.
Would really like it if it showed accurate vs. CPU stats or even better, accurate to that particular MS season.

I've only opened about 24 packs but no diamonds so far.

How do you choose which direction to send your bunt? In previous years you used the Right Stick to choose 3B line or drag Bunt but that is now used for 'ambush'. Am I missing something or did they take away the option to direct your bunt.

And before anyone comes at me, I am not a bunt cheeser. It's just an aspect of the game I like to have available from time to time when I play against CPU.

100% agree. I'm a lifelong OAKLAND A'S fan and won't be supporting them at all anymore. I had to decide on a different team to choose as my 'favorite' for this game and it was soul crushing to do.
I hate MLB the corporation right now but I love baseball in general too much not to play this game. The whole situation sucks.

Yeah. The USA map was a go to for me as well. It was nice and relaxing and I enjoyed beating it in different ways (heading east first, or West a different time, etc).
Not having a repeatable conquest map that gives some sort of reward (I.e. packs and some stubs) is definitely a downer.

Just curious how many stubs everyone is leaving on the table at the end of their '24 run.
I have a little over 372,600. Sure would be nice if we could transfer even a fraction of that to '25. Oh well...

Personally I didn't like the OOP series. I get what they were going for and understand why some liked it, but it just wasn't for me and I went out of my way to never use a single one of those cards.
Ironically, I actually enjoyed the Kaiju cards. So I'm weird
