Then asked for a refund due to servers messing up. And was refunded within an hour.. now Since the Xbox is still linked to ps5 all those redemptions are STILL attached to my account and I have been using them ever since. The gift card they refunded to me went to buy more stubs with which I purchased some of the guys I had on my lost account .. btw stubs are 10% off on Xbox.

    I’m desperate yes. But I’m not giving them another [censored] penny of my money. Even if it will get refunded.

    Agreed, BUYING our content back is unacceptable and not an option to me. Fact of the matter is, we have paid pre-order content that we can no longer access. Either they replace it, or restore our account.

    Note, the site will not let me unlink the accounts. When I click ‘unlink’, it prompts me to confirm acknowledging that it could give me a loss, logs me out, and the accounts are still linked. What a hot mess. Lost everything.

    Yep, completely agree. And I did notice that NOW when you try to link your account it has something in red letters saying "Are you sure, etc" -- something that wasn't there before. It would have also been helpful if the instructions on how to do it properly weren't tucked away in the FAQ. This was pretty important and should have been it's own announcement before the early release.

    But ya, now we sit and wait. I'm guessing we're screwed and they'll say "here are some free packs, we're sorry", but I hope I'm wrong. All those years of history...gone.

    This is the issue, the "correct" instructions were buried in a FAQ and not in-game or on the site itself. The in-game prompt is go to theshow.com/myaccount and type in the code. I think that's what most of us did. At least some of you guys are getting responses to your tickets, that's a positive development.

    So you'd think they'd have backups of their server side file saves. I mean not only were our stubs and transactions saved server side, but all "offline" progress in Moments, Conquests, etc. That's just crazy to me. This combined with the cluster of a launch/inventory wipes in Outriders has made me kinda wary of any live games as service model with no local saves.

    I was so excited to play more of this game, but now I feel trapped because I don't want to progress anything because I want my previous content back, and it could be overwritten again. Such a crappy catch 22. I was just excited for double XP weekend day 5 of the daily moments (I definitely was going to start the Giambi grind) and all the other timed content. Hopefully we get a fix soon, because we're missing out on some cool stuff.

    Honestly, I want everything back. I want all the unlocked cards and DD stuff I had. We shouldn’t lose our Diamond cards. I’d also want my progress restored. I was almost done with the 1st inning conquest. Having to redo that would suck, especially with less time than before. And I had mostly every moment and 4/5 daily missions completed for the Giambi unlock before I got blipped.

    We should all submit editorial tips to Polygon too. See if we can get enough hits to bring some attention to this and hopefully prevent more people from falling prey to the same issue.

    You have to unlink your account from you username in the upper left corner of the menu. Then go back online and link the account only to the "MLB" option when you relink your account. This happened to me on Sunday

    Tried this numerous times on both consoles. I only get a prompt to link. When myself and several others try to unlink on the site, it errors and immediately logs us out of The Show account site. When we log back in, the accounts are still linked. Trust me, I've tried every suggestion and idea myself or others have posted to no avail. Something is broken on their end.

    Double XP Weekend and I can't play because my account reset. I don't want to grind double XP rewards on an account that doesn't have any of my rewards on it. I determined that this account, The_Red, has all my progress saved to it, but somehow another account is made on MLB the Show website with my PSN Red_Devil_Red81, and that account doesn't have any progress saved. Thus, wiping my PS4 of all my progress. It won't allow me to link my PSN to this The Show account that actually has my progress saved.

    I’m sorry, but welcome to our club of wiped accounters. If it’s any consolation, there’s a lot of us commiserating. Still, sorry to see even more people being impacted. Hopefully we get a fix ASAP.

    I’m in the same unfortunate boat. Hopefully @Victor_SDS_PSN and the team can provide some update.

    I believe once the linking maintenance is done, we'll see the Unlink button back on the account with the Xbox and PS updated. Once we are able to unlink, we can relink to the account that has our proper progress and it should resolve this, but in game there is still no option to Unlink anywhere...

    I think it’s done? I see my MLBTS account and it has prompts to link. I just can’t unlink my PSN/XBL stuff still

    I see the same thing, but the Unlink button doesn't even appear for me in game or on the site. I'm thinking further maintenance is needed or that specific part of the issue isn't resolved. I sent another ticket.

    Are you logged in on your Show account?

    I have the same issue. When I log into my MLBTS account, nothing is linked. When I log into my XBL or PSN credentials, they’re still linked together with no option to unlink. Screen shot linked below.

    I've communicated to two different streamers asking them to be our voice, one being a top SDS partner streamer, and they both said, "sorry just wait for them to fix it". Since it didn't happen to them, they don't care. These guys don't want to criticize SDS because they get max benefits for promoting all things SDS.

    Because at the end of the day, it’s not about the community for them. It’s about their bottom line and perks. Curious which ones said no, that way I can stop watching them.

    Since Saturday I am waiting for some official news for the solution, and incredibly not even through social networks have they published anything since Saturday, not even to promote the game, totally null the social networks of the game, how frustrating is this, wao

    What’s more worrying is they’re not even warning people. So more people keep getting wiped. At least intervene and disable the feature until fixed or warn people.

    I cannot tell you in words how freaking mad I was before leaving the house. I have since calmed down a bit but I’m still upset. As a software guy myself I cannot understand how a developer with years of experience could mess something up this bad regardless of adding another platform to the game or not.

    I think its the lack of response on tickets, the general infrequent updates or their plan of action that have frustrated me the most. Like I’ve been playing Outriders, that was a rough launch, but at least they were very vocal and active on Twitter/Reddit so that we at least knew we were being addressed. I’m sure they’re looking into this stuff, but it’s tough when you feel invisible. Especially when people have reached out to the media, streamers, etc. and we’re being ignored or told ‘not my problem’. The gameplay was actually great this year, I was LOVING playing. So excited that I wanted to link my PS5 and XSX progression. What a mistake that was, ha.
