Anybody play? How do you feel about the difference between DD and FUT? Personally I love Fifa more in the sense of game vs game But man I wish it was set up more like DD than it is. High end cards are virtually unobtainable in a year without spending a ton of money. Even in a Weekend league it’s all based on luck on the cards you get. You can go 30-0 and get worse rewards than someone with 14 wins.

Just sick of that aspect and wish it were closer to DD.

I’m 5-30 in events. Can’t get much worse. I don’t mind the losing and trying to get better but the resetting my team because I’m automated at 90 is so bad every two three games.

Just switched my tv from a 2010 Sony with something like 700ms I think if I am correct to a 2019 tcl with 11ms lag. And just wow. Such a difference. Was hitting bombs on legend during batting practice. Before that I was just swinging wildly at everything! I can actually line up the ball now. My skill points went from 400 to 700!

So I went from a 46 Sony with 700ms to my 27 asus and I was hitting bombs on legend on practice. So I bought a $300 55 inch tv with 11ms.

I suggest definitely switching to either one. The game felt pointless on the older tv. I can actually see pitches develop now.

Think in a game where milliseconds are crucial it helps a lot.

Never played on HoF and It was easier than expected. Although Kluber gave me fits. Got lucky and he was pinch hit for in the 5th inning when I was up 3-2 and won 8-2. Think it took me 10 restarts in the first inning and lost once full innings.

You can get infinite amount of coins just on flipping. Buy cards for 5 stubs that sell for 80. It’s impossible to lose them. Just depends how much time you want to commit.

Definitely will, small market teams only get certain windows. Well aware of that, But you have about most of those guys on pre arbitration years or on locked in contracts. They have the 8th highest salary. It’s not like we are the A’s or Marlins here.

I can see this team fighting for the wild card and being remotely competitive for the next 5 years which is a huge upgrade. Which is much higher than what it’s been.

Don’t hate the Dodgers. Respect what they’ve built even with the massive payroll compared to what they were at the beginning of the Spectrum(?) deal and the McCourts. Was pretty gutted for Kershaw during the NLCs. Wouldn’t mind them winning one out of 10.

The Padres are def going for it this year. I don’t see them staying “in the game” for very long. Not like the Dodgers anyway.

The rotation has Clev (2) Lamet (3) Davies (2) Paddack (4) plus Patino and Gore.

The bullpen with Pagan and Pomeranz and a notoriety for building bullpens.

Still have the second best farm with Campusano, Abrams leading the way among others.

I’m not gonna say this team will ever reach dodger level of consistency, that would be silly.

But this core is set for awhile with reinforcements and flexibility to trade on the way for years to come.

A betting man might say, in the 14 years since the Padres last sniffed the post season, the Dodgers have done it 9 times and the Padres have never knocked the Dodgers out of the postseason.

Side note. Through AL East and Central and Larry Walker has 4 walk off home runs. He’s been amazing (maybe to no ones surprise).

Last year was my worst hitter for the longest time and he ended up top 3. But always felt vanilla.
