The game can definitely go on. We would get no player updates. Moments based on the season would be out.

RTTS would be fine.
Franchise would be fine.
DD would suffer some but they could pivot to more historic based moments to cover the gap. Market speculation would be worthless since players would not be upgraded. But Ranked Seasons, Events, BR, Showdown, Conquest should all be mostly fine.

I pre-ordered the anniversary edition, so I’ll open up all packs given to me through that. Probably buy some more with the stubs I’ll be receiving as well
