I don’t know if you technically do. I was just paranoid after taking a couple tries to get past the second legend game and couldn’t find anything about it. Haven’t finished it yet but by turn 3 you can start to play on veteran with some rookie games sprinkled in.
That first mission was brutal though. Can’t imagine having 99 teams to go against. Live series was the only way that was possible for me
If and when you get past the second legend game. All you need to do is steal fans on all star and you will just play all star for the remaining games. I was worried about how many I should steal but it worked out luckily.
Also helped looking at the live starting pitching rotation and going against the guy with the slowest stuff since the higher levels feel like it’s 2x speed.

Have the same thing. Kind of annoying but when you stop playing, I press the X button, then go to the Show and quit it so it closes. When you go to play the next time it loads perfectly. I was having the same issues for the longest time and that has worked for me. It is annoying though
