Wasn’t looking for validation. More so wanted to give SDS due credit for their work and accomplishments. Forgot this was the internet…

I have played MLB the Show the past 2 seasons on my XSX, I was exited to have an opportunity to play one of my favorite series on XBOX - as I primarily a XBOX console gamer. Yes I own a PS5. So I am not a fan boy in either direction.
This will mark the third straight year I will be paying the FULL $99.99 cost for the Digital Deluxe in spite of still getting this title as a game that is included in the cost of the GamePass subscription. Why pay full price for the game when I can easily play the game as part of my sub? Because SDS deserves every dollar for their quality, and hard work and attention given to the franchise each and every year. Is the game perfect? No - of course not. However - IMO they are the most polished Sports title every year.

No, I agree… when it says “ now batting, number 63” instead of a name it’s kind of a let down. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing.

I appreciate your insight! I am a long time player myself - and have exclusively played RTTS or Franchise. I always stayed away from DD - because I simply thought it was a cash grab. ( like EA) I was always skeptical of those who claimed “No money Spent” - After really learning more on the mode on YouTube I decided to give DD a chance this season. Your insight is sound and logical - Thanks again!
