Depends on what TV and monitor we're comparing. Neither is created equal. Generally speaking monitors are superior to tv's. There are some tv's that are really good and make the advantages / disadvantages minimal. There are also some [censored] monitors...

I use contact swing when I'm 0-2 , 1-2 and sometimes 3-2. If pitchers still hit I'd use it all the time with them.

The pitch speeds should be equal to real life both offline or online, regardless of difficulty. Difficulties should make it easier or harder on the timing of the swing.

13 max pitchers, the minimum of each position, lineups, or pitcher rotation. Unless the X is for a MiLB team...

Free sync is a PC thing, why would you be setting that up for a console? Turn both off dude, the fact you're playing with a monitor instead of a TV you're going to get the lowest input lag and that's basically all you should be concerned about. If you're bad at the game then just practice, go take batting practice and crank up the pitch speeds to max and take swings for an hour, get your timing down..its baseball.

It tells you in the base diamond in the right hand corner of the screen what button does it.

There are numerous equipment brands / items that aren't in the game that are being used in real life. That said, for the items that won't let you change colors ... the colors are changeable, you just have to equip something different first, change the color and then go back to the item. I've spent close to 100 hours so far this year editing all the equipment for an entire roster using reference images from Getty Images. Side note, the color options we have are ancient and archaic, very limited. Some home and away color combos aren't possible with the way the game is currently set up. We need much more control over home and away gear.

For MLB 22 you can only import custom music for the PS4 version of the game, on either the PS4 or PS5 console.

They took out thousands of names this year, I doubt they're gonna add yours back in.

When you say crash to desktop, are you playing on PC through cloud gaming?
