Monitor vs TV
-
I've never played on a monitor, but keep seeing that all the top guys use one. Does it actually make a difference?

Depends on what TV and monitor we're comparing. Neither is created equal. Generally speaking monitors are superior to tv's. There are some tv's that are really good and make the advantages / disadvantages minimal. There are also some [censored] monitors...

This is a very simple question that I'm surprised most don't know the answer to. If you're a DD player then it doesn't matter, TV or monitor cause frame rate and input lag doesn't matter cause you're playing at slow pitch speeds and at a lower level like All-star or whatever. If you're a Franchise player playing at Legend with max pitch speeds then obviously you need to play on a monitor cause every split second matters. So to summarize....Casual/noob/DD players=TVs, Franchise/real baseball guys=Monitors.

I'm using an Asus. Imo it's way better then a TV.
