People like you are the problem. It's obviously broken since week 1 and your telling people they need to get better. Hitting felt easy because everyone was playing on Veteran. I was hitting around .500 in my first 10 games or so. Now that I'm on legend the pci is sooooooo small and pitch speeds are ridiculous. HOF plays harder than Legend did last year. I can't wait for people who are saying hitting is "still fine" to play on at least HOF. I honestly doubt anyone who is good at this game thinks hitting is good. The user input is pointless now and its back to lineouts like 19. Literally feels like the same game now. Good ole bait and switch by SDS like always.

At first I liked it, but I’ve realized I was completely wrong with new changes. Facing kluber over and over again is getting old. Once you get someone else on the mound against you and start hitting balls and scoring, here comes kluber out the pen.
That card is just to OP for this point of the game on HOF+. That sinker isn’t 94 mph. Hopefully it all evens out as the year goes on.

I’m usually not this harsh, but whoever is testing and making these patches shouldn’t have that job. This isn’t the first patch that claimed things are fixed and they aren’t. To me, it seems like a lie.

This game sucks. That’s it. They broke it after launch like always. It’s so pitcher dominant on HOF+. It’s either kluber or Oswalt every game pretty much. Content this year has been sub par for me at least. The WS reward I got was useless besides the stubs. I hate to be so negative, but everyone on here knows the gameplay is trash. From hitting to fielding to pitching, it’s all a dumpster fire. The only offense is HRs, which makes the games so boring to play now. Idk, I just hope they can put it back together, but with everything going on in the world I doubt it happens. This game needs more than “slight” changes to anything.

Stop wasting your stubs on gambling. Just buy the cards you want. Packs are gambling. Stop coming on here and complaining about your pack luck like you deserve better. There are real problems with this game, and it’s not packs.

They were so limited no one could even buy them hardly. Wack move by SDS. Especially in a time like now. Most people lost stubs anyway. Your not missing anything.

I’ll gladly take my W and move on.

I mean it’s basically true. What’s your explanation for all the good/okays that weakly fly into center field while my early/okays leave the yard?
I gave up a very early/okay HR last night and lost in the bottom half of the 9th with a perfect fly ball out. I had better user input than the other guy, except the game chose to reward him. It goes both ways. Sometimes I’m the one rewarded, sometimes I’m not.

Been saying this all day. Makes zero sense to me. What a reward... lol

And please SDS please take no advice from anything on a 2k game. Worst developers in the game right now. They are right in front of EA sports. Both TRASH companies

I’m personally done with showdown. Don’t even plan on looking at it anymore. Total waste of space on this game. Instead of making a new mode they should have focused on what really mattered. Actual gameplay

I bought the AL around launch cause I wanted biggio (one of my childhood favorite players). I haven’t opened many packs since then and I’ve almost completed the NL already. Only big piece I need is arenado. I lucked out and pulled acuna and bellinger out of a free ballin is a habit pack but I highly recommend staying away from packs.

Too many bugs. Defense has been comical since release and not a word about it from any SDS people. The pitch speeds and location has been wacky also since release. I’m not even getting into the hitting. We all know it picks and chooses who to reward for the most part.
They stream and sell the game every year, then go ghost mode on us. It just seems like laziness on their part. Everyone makes it so much easier for them to make their profits spending bags on DD, while the core product is garbage. And please don’t blame coronavirus, they are still adding content (that’s been pretty bad to this point). Can we get a word from SDS? Is any fixes even coming? I’m done spending any more money on a game that is broken. 99 ovr cards can’t even field a baseball.

Oh stop. They obviously have time for cash grabs. They have time to fix their game. They really just need to stop dropping unpolished games. But i get it, capitalism.

In the stream before release. I’m pretty sure at least. 80 was the bench mark, but I’ve hit a few perfect fly balls with guys in the 90-100 range that didn’t leave the yard.

Fielding is worse post patch. New problems have popped up for me. Guys over running balls now. This game will be dead in a couple months if they don’t fix this stuff.

After playing the hell out of this one and constantly getting screwed over, I have no interest in 20. Have it pre ordered, but no Intentions of playing anymore. So many better games out there. Any idea on what I can do to get my money back?

Honestly, it’s an obvious cash grab if you can’t exchange the collected card at least. I got a few dupes but it would be nice to exchange some of these cards I don’t want. I just wanted the collection rewards.

COD, Apex, and Rocket league are much better games. I love sports titles, but with the way 2k, the show, and madden have gotten, Ive finally thrown in the towel on these sports franchises. They are complete cash grabs, while other developers are dropping free games that are simply better.
The RNG in this game has gotten unbearable. There is definitely comeback logic coded into this game. I don’t have any doubt that 20 will be the same [censored].
