I have to agree. The game is tons of fun, and all the different modes are cool and all. But it does feel pretty bland at time. Feels like a slightly updated version of the same game from like 5 years ago. Players need more/different animations when fielding, running, hitting etc. The diving is so bland. It looks like the same animation of the past 5 years!

If they gave the game a REAL gameplay update and BASIC customer support and glitch fixes/updates, this game would do SO much better.

Yeah at this point, nothing in DD is competitive, or "ranked".

Then again.....it does balance out the game so that casuals can at least have a chance at playing against the die hard grinders with no life

But they do need to tone it down a little bit at least. The die hard grinders should still have a little bit of a better team regardless..

It's not a "complete dice roll" but yeah RNG takes control more often than not based on the player attributes.

Basically it’s the idea that two (or more) different pitches are delivered from the same height and angle out of the hand and travel the same trajectory long enough to look identical

I was about to come in here and say exactly this. Example: Slider and a Fastball. Throw slider first, then throw a fast ball at the exact same spot where the slider was going before it broke it's plane. This works wonder IRL as well. You can have a teams best hitters looking silly. Obviously you have to mix up your pitch sequences, locations, etc. But tunneling is something that doesnt get the recognition it deserves. My opinion at least.

SDS laziness continually called out in the forums. Nothing's really broken per se, but so many things are starting to be emboldened. Overall gameplay needs an overhaul. These automatic plays, player animations, etc. need to get better now that we're in the next-gen console era.

That pitch repertoire sounds great. As a lifelong catcher, pitching, painting corners, getting into the opponents head, is the most fun I have even aside from hitting so I'm right there with ya!

Sounds like you're asking for a participation trophy(without even participating). Should we all get WS rewards because some of us don't have the time to play 40+ RS games?
