They can't ban people for 24 hours for quitting a video game. Who cares if they quit you won the game and saved yourself some time. Starting at 0 rating would ruin ranked seasons competitiveness. Newer players getting matched with good and elite players. They would lose a large player base. Plus nobody that plays on HOF and Legend wants to reset to veteran difficulty every month.

Actually yes they can refer to rocket league! This thread isn't about catering to my needs it is how alot of people feel and these are simply suggestion that were well thought out and presented in a manner to make game as a whole better. But ty for your input.

Then go play car soccer if you like their quitting policy. I personally don't quit, but my opponent quitting doesn't effect me any. I get to play a second game in less time.

When an early swing without touching the ball with the pci can be a HR and 20 good timed swings dotted inside the pci can be outs it not really skill. Just a casual game. The only skill really comes down to whether a fastball zooms by with your connection or not and not swinging at low pitches out the zone unless they allow you to foul them off 10 times in a row.

I don’t know about DDA. But it’s definitely best to take it as a casual experience and hope your connection allows to see the fastballs.

There's 100% dda in this game. They can deny it all they want but all you have to do is watch the game and pay attention. I can usually tell whether a play will be made when it is hit depending on the score. For instance, a ball in the hole at SS. If you are winning, 9/10 times that runner will be safe. If losing, the SS will get the quick throw animation. No different than the dribbler on the infield or a thousand other scenarios. This is why when you are in the lead, you take no chances on the bases and have to make sure your guy will 100% make it. You have to factor that the relay will be very quick.

I must be f* terrible at the game if I’m 23-3 with two disconnect losses. DDA must always be in my favour right?

I was 24-1 to start the year. Lost 4 straight, 2 I deserved to and 2 I outplayed my opponent by a wide margin, but they get some bloops to come back and fluke it in extras. 3 of my losses the guy can't hit all game then late game all of a sudden their bad swings get rewarded.
You can still win games with DDA or RNG against you. You just notice that when winning it seems those jammed and very early hits land for your opponent, but your good squared swings get run down or die at the wall. Diamond and gold fielders boot grounders, they take an extra split second to throw to first. You give up an off the pci homer. I think a lot of it is quirks, momentum, etc.

I don’t think he’s complaining about the animation, but more the fact that dives are successful 98% of the time regardless of who the defender is. Those outfield dives were on hard hit line drives. There’s almost no risk to diving unless you brutally mistime it or dive for a ball way out of reach.
I like that dives are viable for once, but it is not balanced at all.

The program is quite literally April monthly awards and they reference his April stats on the card. His attributes are reflective of how he performed in April of 2021.

I have had 11 win runs 3 times this year and finally got my first 12 win with bellinger as the reward. Lost the flawless on a pretty unlucky game at 10-0, but the pack gods made up for it. I pulled Gerrit Cole after my 12 win out of a ballin pack I earned in the br program

Was away for the holiday weekend, but was at 872 rating, and decided to try for WS this morning so I could enjoy the day off work after. First game halladay vs halladay on legend, first time facing him too. After 9 it’s 1-1 so to extras we go and 99 randy out the pen for my opponent. In 11th he hits a bloop to take the lead. But down to my last out he threw 1 too many sliders low and in and Ernie 3 run walk off. Feels better knowing he just lost randy for his next 4 games too!

Everything has been super repetitive and grindy. The city connect, monthly programs, the face and future of the franchise and the spring and summer programs. The all star content is going to really make or break the game for many. I myself have cut down to just ranked and maybe some program offline stuff if I need the xp

The game's been out a week.

His only card that cost stubs is trout and the collection reward Henderson. The rest of his lineup is team affinity or program rewards. He probably hasn’t spent a cent. You complained about how overpowered his team was with David fletcher on it hahah

Do you make up the majority? Everybody is disagreeing because you complained about your personal pet peeves of why you don't play ranked seasons. The structure is fine how it is.

If you want to discuss fine, but don't assume as to what my intentions are with this thread for a poor attempt to getting upvotes on your post it's rather pathetic.

Your opinion is wildly unpopular and your argument against the opposition was flawed. I have nothing to discuss. Your ideas would ruin ranked seasons for well over half of the player base. Higher level guys do not want to play on veteran and all star and low level guys do not want to lose 15-0 in 3 innings

It’s ironic that they have time limited content out and the servers haven’t worked last two days and no word from sds if they’re aware.

They say input matters more than ever, but good timing and in the pci is a fly out or lineout more often than a hit. Very early and very late almost seems to get more hits in some games. I also love when perfect perfects go foul, sometimes they change the feedback to just early, but I have had some where they still say perfect and it goes foul.

Very hot take thinking your 7th grade babe Ruth league baseball experience would translate in the box against an MLB pitcher. Considering you didn’t play high school ball let alone college ball, I would bet that you couldn’t hit a guy throwing 85 mph let alone 95mph. It’s not a pitching machine they aren’t throwing straight fastballs in the wheelhouse every pitch

The problem with timing is it changes drastically not only game to game but inning to inning. You can be selling out and still very late on 95 and it looks 115mph and then be waiting and be early on 102 and it looks like 85.

Only thing I’m not liking is the perfect fly outs hit 450 to dead center. I’ve hit 3 and caught one. It feels bad on both ends
