This year the difficulty when playing CPU teams is off the charts. I’ve been playing on rookie through mini-seasons and am lucky if I get 2 hits a game and I was a pre-order so I’ve been playing for over a week now. The difficulty is especially horrendous on older players like myself. My eyesight and reaction times aren’t what they were 20+ years ago. I tried some RS games and the catcher already had the ball by the time I even saw it lol. Needless to say, I’m primarily a Conquest and this year a Mini-Seasons player, but at this rate, they’ll risk losing an entire generation of gamers because of stuff like this.

Definitely not purchasing any special editions anymore as this has been a yearly thing for the past 5-6 years. I’ll wait until June from now on and see how things are going at that point. There’s other games to play that work properly.

Same here. I just like to enjoy playing and relaxing. But with these current difficulty settings, I fear I could have a complete lineup of end of year cards and not do any better. But then again, I’m 43 so maybe this is SDS’s way of telling me I’m too old and it’s time to put down the controller lol

4th or 5th pitch......I had 3 before one of them disappeared and I only have 2!!! I’d love to have 3 lol

I threw a 9.2 inning perfect game and lost on a strikeout in the dirt when 98 Realmuto threw the ball over the 1Bs head into RF…….so take you “bloops” and gtfo lol

I just played my first game post patch and when hitting to the outfield especially line drives, the animations show base hit and the ball rolling on the ground and the announcers are commenting that it’s a base hit......BUT in reality it was caught for an out. This is very troublesome if you have men on base and start advancing them due to everything pointing towards a base hit only to get tossed out at their original base. Anybody else experience this issue?

Currently my rotation is:

99 CY Kluber (no sell)
98 SS Newhouser (no sell)
97 CY Young Grienke (sellable)
97 Future Stars May (sellable)
93 Prime Oswalt (no sell)

I have 128k stubs currently. I do have another 345k tied up in market for MVP Henderson if someone would sell him lol

PS: I’m just a casual player, but would like to play more RS

Ok, I’m a 41 year old disabled veteran with severe anxiety and playing this game is a good way to keep my mind off things. The problem is I can’t hit to save my life. I probably average 18 strikeouts a game. If I get more than 2-3 hits a game it’s a “good” game. I also have trouble seeing the ball and am extremely late on FBs and extremely early on off-speed pitches. Here are my settings.....please help with recommendations for changes and simple strategy for batting. Thank you

Hitting Interface: Zone
PCI: Off (PCI was making it even harder to see ball, but maybe there’s adjustments to be made for its settings?)

I’m using his ASG 99 at 3B and he’s been great defensively so far. I have Eddie Murray at 1B. But still needing work on Vlad’s swing.
