Idk how these contracts work but they just seem like some greedy old guys tryna squeeze a few more coins outta their heyday. Its not like theyre expected to sit at a computer to render their own characters You played pro baseball and youre really gonna stress over a video game check? Especially the ones with other, more lucrative revenue streams. Id be grateful fans still wanna play as me in a video game post-retirement. Nevermind the exposure to younger fans who might not be familiar with them. I hated playing basketball games in the 90s and neverrr getting to play as jordan. I wanna play as john rocker, randy johnson, clemens, pettite, daryl strawberry, jeter, garciaparra, -ayrod , manny ramirez, albert belle…. Maybe ive just played too much nba2k myteam where they have 98% of iconic players (charles barkley and reggie miller need to quit acting bougy with their wendy’s and tnt paychecks ) .. DO IT FOR THE FANS, DO IT FOR THE GAME! Rant over.
