Some people on here whine because they can't have everything while only doing some things.
Oh shut up dude youāre one of the most notorious whiners on this forum hahah. Iām allowed to say the TA grind is hard, get a life dork

Not that difficult... beat the 3 showdowns, 3 conquest maps, 30 moments, play the game with players that aren't listed as "free agents" and do the captain missions... I've completed both East Divisions and I am nearing completion on AL West with NL West sure to follow... Central are only divisions I haven't gotten around to getting a lot of their players in my lineup but hopefully once I do their Conquest and Showdown I'll know where I'm at... plus the program doesn't expire so you can still do TA1 while TA2 is out which might also mean that certain PXP and XP and stats and such stack... unless they specify that the players have to be from Set 2 in TA2 but I'm thinking it'll stick with the same model as TA1.
Hahaha I thought the first half of your post was definitely going to be sarcasm. Iām good though. Iād rather play ranked seasons and other modes that are actually fun with cards that I earned and want to use thatāll only be available for 60 more days. And I donāt dislike sets at all. I just made this post last night after seeing the insane amount of points required to earn mostly unusable cards in TA. I donāt derive satisfaction from collecting cards like others, I just want good cards to go head to head with.
People get a little too worked up around here donāt they?
Those cards should not be ignored. They will significantly cut down on the amount of cards needed to get the boss cards. But you do you.
Yeah itās a bummer but Iāll live lol

If youāve been playing DD since 2014 you would see that yes itās certainly heading in that direction but also that itās still drastically better than every other ultimate team mode. Letās just enjoy it for now because it may not be that way for much longer
Whatās HustlinOwl crying about today?
Iām coming around on this whole sets and early 99ās thing the longer I play the game to be honest
This team affinity grind is unreal. 60k points for ONE player from ONE division?????? My god that is insane. If you have the time or sheer will power to 100% all of these divisions then you are much more dedicated than I lol

In 3 years I donāt think Iāve ever seen you make a helpful or friendly comment to a single person on this forum. You donāt have to be like that man

I dont mind the pxp missions. What I do mind is all the time I have to invest to finish these programs. I have no time to parallel players on my "God squad". All it feels like I'm doing is using my grind team
Bingo. I literally never get to use my main team. And guess what, theyāll all be gone in two months and weāll never get to use them. Weāll be stuck in this perpetual grind for the entire life cycle of the game. That, or weāll use our teams and never be able to finish any of the collections without spending major dough
@Dollyrots_XBL said in Honest question here:
Some people just want to use cards they enjoy. Honestly, I have no use for the players in Topps now but I will be using a few of them because I like the players. I do not even care about Julio Rodriguez, but I will use his Topps Now card because I like the picture with the trident. There are reasons to use cards that are not the highest rated. Just have fun.
I love getting a bunch of new cards from team Mexico. Most of them will not stay on my team, but it will be fun to use different players. Ir is not all about the highest rated cards and collections.
I get that itās not about the highest rated, I use many 95-97ās over 99ās bc I like their swings and they produce but god [censored] these cards are stinkyyyy. But I appreciate the different perspective, I typically play the game just to compete and win and not to collect the most cards so things like using a card for the card art is genuinely not something Iāve ever thought of before being a reason why somebody would want a card
@Hikes83_PSN said in Honest question here:
Iām gonna guess theyāll be needed for some sort of ācoreā collection at some point
Isnāt the live series collection already a ācore collectionā though? I canāt imagine there would be enough core cards after all of those have already been used up in a massive collection
What exactly does SDS expect us to do with these 88-94 ovr Mexico and topps players? And what is the incentive for getting such poor cards other than occupying our time with a few hours of busy work? If you play online competitively theyāre simply unusable against the arms youāre going to face.
I get it I get it, ā you donāt have to get the cards, stop complaining about free cardsā. But Im just saying I canāt help but feeling blue balled by this weekends content after acquiring a bunch of 97-99ās the last two weeks.

It's a baseball game, you don't want to play the baseball game? I don't know man, sounds like you need to find a different game then?
"I'm tired of using cards in the game". ok???
Donut
I got a late start to the game this year by a few weeks and I was able to complete most of the recent programs quickly. Tonight I decided to try and tackle the WBC moments and program, but something just feels⦠off? I had no other issue with moments in the charisma or any of the āother programsā but when itās come to these WBC moments it feels like I'm hitting in the dead ball era at times. And during the pitching moments the hitters are very aggressive and foul off tons of pitches. I truly hate to even use this terminology, as I donāt want to be lumped into the group of people who are constantly saying this, but with the swing feedback Iām getting it almost seems like the outcomes are completely scripted and like Iām on a timer of sorts for each individual moment.
Has anybody else experienced this? Iām chugging along decently but spending way more time than I had hoped doing these.

I use fish eye for that exact reason. Not only can you see the hotter, you can see the whole field. And it looks cool when youāre mellow.
I love fish eye for that exact reason, being able to see everything. But itās just not possible to be competitive online with that camera and sitting as far away from the tv as I do
Do you guys ever feel like using the strike zone batting views takes away from the immersion or fun of using your favorite players?
If I was doing a moment and got 3k xp for it but the servers crashed will I still get that xp? I finally got around to doing those easy moments for free xp
