game is broken, I went back to The Show 24 and it is working as a charm

  • RTTS is completely broken in The Show 25 – what's going on?

I created a new two-way player on Beginner difficulty, an absolute beast with over 150 home runs, ranked #1 MLB prospect and #1 team prospect. Despite all that, every time the coach tells me I’m “not ready for AAA.” Even during the postseason, the big league staff comes to check me out and say I am ready for promotion and then… nothing.

At one point, I got a random “challenge” popup between a batter and pitcher, showing me as the pitcher, even though I was in the field. That’s when I realized something is seriously bugged.

I’m clearly top-tier, tearing through the minors, but I just stay stuck in MiLB as if nothing happened. Still listed as the #1 MLB prospect, even into the next season. Midway through that second season? Still “not ready for AAA.” What the hell?

This mode is seriously messed up in The Show 25. The logic is broken, the bugs are everywhere, and honestly, RTTS was way better in The Show 24. Extremely disappointing.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Guys, thanks for yours reply,

I am currently playing as a Two-Way Player as Starting Pitcher (SP) and Second Baseman (2B).

I’ve been drafted multiple times by different teams after restarting my career several times, 6 or 7 times. In one instance, I even requested a trade to my manager, hoping that might help with my progression.

Despite my high performance and top prospect status in each case, I’ve never been promoted to Triple-A or MLB. I always remain stuck in Double-A, even after a full season with excellent stats.

Could be this issue may be related to a bug affecting career progression for Two-Way Players ?
in-fact, one of several questions from my coach was related to change role/position

    Thanks!

    Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing what I believe is a bug in MLB The Show 25 while playing Road to the Show. I’ve created my player, gone through the amateur stages, and performed extremely well during the full season in Double-A.

Despite being ranked as the top prospect in both the organization and the league, and even seeing visual cues in the calendar that seemed to indicate a promotion, I never advanced to Triple-A or MLB. The coach repeatedly said I wasn’t ready, even though all stats and rankings suggested otherwise.

I restarted the career mode three different times, following the same path and achieving similarly high performance, but every time I ended up stuck in Double-A with no promotion.

This issue did not happen in previous versions like The Show 23 or The Show 24. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue?

Thanks in advance for any help or insights!
