Is it me or do people beg for cards one year then call them underwhelming the next year when they are announced?
Last year was MVP Mookie Betts and Alfonso Soriano. Everyone was asking for those cards in 20 then saw a bunch of people bashing them in 21.
I'm not saying the legends have been great this year but I feel like there is never consistency to the complaints on this forum

It usually comes down to their swing. I dont know that anyone was ever asking for Jimmie Foxx but he has a great swing so most people love him now and if he got pulled from the game most people would be mad. Soriano seemed like a great addition and his attributes were strong but most people didnt like his swing. If Justin Morneau or Kevin Youkilis have good swings people will probably love them even though no one was asking for them. Imagine how bad it would be if they finally got Arod and his swing ended up being terrible.

Morneau, Utley, and Howard all had good swings when they were still in the game for what its worth. And a lot of the noise makers on twitter and such I question if they are even fans of baseball. I've seen quite a few today that didn't know who Brian Wilson is. I get it that most of the people saying that are young but the fact the people want an Adelberto Mondesi card over a guy like Morneau, or the legends that didn't get a top card this year says a lot about the community IMO

Yea I remember using Morneau a lot years ago and hitting well with him. As far as pitchers I think pitch mix is important but also release point. If someones delivery hides the ball long enough they are brutal. I think that was what made cabrera so tough early on. Wilson may be nasty if he has a funky delivery and good pitch mix.

Any kind of sport game that wants success should not in any way shape or form even think about mimicking anything Madden has done.

Bellinger is an endgame, 5-tool outfielder; I cannot say the same for Yelich. They both are lefty hitters with great swings and good power; however, Yelich is not going to make too many squads as a starter, he is a liability in the OF. Bellinger is an elite fielder and probably the best outfielder (haven’t used the Hank Aaron yet) in the game so far.

Mantle, Kemp, Aaron, Harper, Guerrero, Betts, Hampson, Soriano, Gonzalez, Sheffield, Clemente, Nootbaar, Robert are all better than Bellinger.

And if I had to choose between Yelich and Bellinger, I’d rather have Yelich. They both have low contact vs LHP, so I’d take the guy that’s at least maxed out against righties. Yelich has enough speed and good enough fielding that I wouldn’t consider him a liability either.

I disagree with most (I have not used all) in the first part, but I do respect your opinion and who is best for you. I agree there is no outfielder anyone needs because it is a deep position.

I value defense in the outfield, and Belliinger is a far superior defender then Yelich. They are both fun cards, and I am by no means someone that should be giving any type of advice, and I’m not; it’s all just my opinion. It’s a video game. Let’s have fun. I wish I can try every card.

It dosn't mean their descovered yet, as far as i know but hey if i'm wrong i'd love to find out when they were released veacuse i've been waiting for them all year because i have almost all the other icons and i'm trying for everything this year and if you look none of the masscots have locations yet, it's not just the Cardinals.

My theory is that they intentionally made the 6th inning bosses meh (relatively) because TA4 was around the corner and was going to overshadow everything for awhile.

That or they really don't have much clue as to what's going on.

Yeah man. Get yourself in hitters counts. Make them come into the zone. Also, 3-0, and 3-1 counts, I always take till 3-2. Make them throw 2 or 3 pitches in the zone. Walks are huge.

Well I’m not sure where that info has come from as none of their social media sites says this and none of their streams have mentioned this. And the finest collection has always come out at the conclusion of the regular season. So seeings that there is only a month left what would make you think TA 4 wouldn’t be the finest collection.

That merely says they will be called seasons and yes it teases at possibly more than 4 seasons however timing makes it a virtual certainty that the finest will be TA 4 regardless of how many seasons they run.

Well, these puppies have been dropping every 2 months. I would expect TA4 in early September. Historically, finest has dropped after the world series, in November (late October last year due to pandemic playoff structure). I guess we will see!
