Switch to directional.
Don't listen to this man. The best piece of advise anyone can give is lame and self explanatory; put in time and effort. Play tons of games, find what works for you when it comes to pre pitch PCI placement. Take lots of BP in custom practice on legend, preferably with sliders up. Have a good approach in the box just like with real baseball, look for pitches to drive instead of trying to be fancy and hit well located pitches.
You have any tips on picking up the ball from the pitcher release point? I just cant seem to pick up the ball out of the hand. And yes i do have a monitor.
Yeah I do. First what you wanna do is focus on the pitcher's windup to get your timing down. Get a feeling for when he starts his motion to when he breaks the hands to when he puts his foot down. That's usually on par with the release of the baseball; once he puts his foot down.
What I also do is focus on either the location where his hand will be releasing the baseball to try and see the baseball as early as I possibly can and if he has a funky windup or delivery it helps to focus on something static until the ball comes out, like the logo on his hat for instance.
Also, playing on one of the strike zone cameras will help you see the ball as early as possible and also see the break well to determine the pitch type that is being thrown to you.
It takes some practice but those are the best tips I can give you.
Thanks you. Appreciate everybody's input.
