Having more than 3 pitches isn't unfair. That makes no sense.
Something went wrong with training and progression. It's yet another screw up that will be altered.

Man they didn't care about RTTS at all this year, huh? Like the progression thing is bad but really only became super wide spread after the early release patch and the servers are the servers but this? Everyone seems to have this issue and that means that no playtester went deep enough into the mode to try for a fourth pitch. That's kind of insane.
He probably quit playing when he realized nothing else was working, lmao.
It took me a good day to figure out nothing was tracking, because I didn't even know badges upgraded, etc. If you helped build the game you would know within a game or so.

I am in my second full year of the majors, 3 year total. I have played every game, I am 80 OVR. I still have not been able to add a fourth pitch. At this point I assume its locked behind the gold and diamond archetypes but with the pretty rough launch the missions dont work most of the time.
I don't think it is. Have you been able to train to make you attribute caps bigger? I haven't.
It seems like the whole training aspect is missing things. I haven't seen options to train power, raise caps, or new pitches.
My thinking, is once they fix the training, it will be fixed.
Also, you can purchase new badges in the store. Even if they don't have any available to sell, it's still listed. You can see what the badges do, and none say add pitch.
It also doesn't seem like something you earn through the assignments. They all seem to be stubs, etc.
This is beyond frustrating. It has to be bugged. It was harder 3 years ago when you had to wait until the majors, but easier the last couple where you could learn one in AA (or AAA I can't remember.)
The fact some have gotten to the majors and still can't is troubling.
I dont see it as a archetype issue, I see it as an issue with reworking how pitches are chosen to begin with. It seems like they forgot to do something after that.
I'm not a programmer, but in my lame attempt to make sense of it, someone pressed delete too many times when they made changes. Lol
