These servers remind me of the god awful servers from MLB 17.. This is insane! Im sure they will at least give us a pack to make up for these frustrations lmao.

Centerfield.....
Dale Murphy......I was shitting bricks for a second when I opened mine. Oh well.

I've completed:
Mantle, Chipper, Victorino, Roberts, and Oswalt.
During Switch it up 2 I plan to finish Feller, Snider and Helton.
And Lightning Josh Bell if he is our May final POTM reward. They are definitely going to have some type of prestige collection reward. Wouldn't surprise me if it was:
Complete 1 - BIAH Pack
Complete 5- 99 Overall Babe Ruth
Complete 10- Prestige 99 overall Babe Ruth
Or something similar -
@MaxHarvest said in New Card Series "Hometown Hero" for stage 3 TA:
The only dodger position player you could come up w is pee wee Reese ?
Who else can you think of then? Alot of the dodgers hitters (Jackie Robinson, Matt kemp, Mike piazza, Duke Snider) already have high diamond cards
-
Now, This is only an idea mind you, but it seems as though they are wanting to follow a specific card type for each stage of TA. I think that we can all assume stage 4 is set aside for the finest series cards, I wont discuss that much.
So stage 3 is bound to have a specific card series, and I think something along the lines of "Hometown Hero" would be fitting. The criteria would include someone that accomplished amazing feats for their specific team, or someone that wore the jersey for the entirety of their career and had success. Something similar to these.
Ill throw out some of my guesses as to what cards I could see this being, but I would love to hear everyone else's thoughts as well. I know SDS Does not currently have a version of some of these cards in the game, but you never know which new legends could be introduced!! LOL
I also tried to exclude anyone who may already have a high diamond card. I am also not a huge expert of each and every baseball team so please forgive me if I forgot someone from your team and offended you.

I wish we could add our extra starting pitchers to the bullpen. At least 1 spot would be awesome. ALOT of teams are using Starting Pitchers as relievers because they have a plethora of Starters on their roster.
-
They made an extremely underwhelming 95 overall Griffey Jr. I'm almost 100% sure that won't be his best card in the game. I would expect a lot of guys who have diamonds now to get 99s later in the game just based off that. And the fact that they gave chipper Jones a 94 veteran card when he had a MVP season in 1999 which would warrant a better card than his 94 overall.
Truthfully I think we will see alof of these guys in stage 4 team affinity.
99 Griffey
99 chipper
Alot of others as well -
So none of you have used his 95 sig card?
-
Best I've ever done in BR is 9-0 so I don't plan on going 12-0 for his card. My plan is to save up 170k or so for when his price comes down alittle. Will it be worth it? I love his pitches, but his lack of velo scares me. Thoughts?

correct. Has to be on their inventory

Do you have any interest in joining my custom DD league?
Rules:
-DH on
-9 inning games
-8 team playoffs
-HOF difficulty
Other Rules:
-Your team is made up only from the cards you have in your DD inventory for that team. Flashbacks, Legends, and live series.-Example: If you are the giants, you are the only person in the league that can use the 99 overall Buster Posey. You can use anyone that you have in your inventory for the giants. If you have not unlocked the 99 overall buster posey, he will not be available for you to use on your team.
-you only have to own the cards, they do not have to be collectedAre you interested? If so let me know and I'll send you an invite. First come first serve on the teams. That means first join first serve. Not reserving teams for anyone, you just have to get who's available when you join.
Only 6 people have confirmed so far as of now, so alot of teams still open.
Teams taken are Braves, Indians, Astros, Redsox, Nationals, Dodgers.More invites have been sent, so more teams will be claimed soon.

At least make it so that the HIGHER RANKED TEAM dictates the difficulty, rather than the lower ranked team.

- Go to theshownation.com
- Click the top right menu scroll button (3 lines on top of one another)
- Click "my account"
- Click "MLB 20 Dashboard"
- Click the downward arrow in the top right that has now appeared. This should show things such as "inventory", "community market", and there will be a tab that says "leaderboard". Click "leaderboard".
- At the top where there is a scroll down menu that says "online rated", switch this menu to "Dynasty season".
Now just have to search through the thousands of players til you find who you're looking for Best of luck guys

For team affinity, my method (and there may be a better one, but this has been my cheapest approach) is this:
Ten 79 overall exchanges
Two 73 overall exchanges
Usually cost between 6500-7000 per 10 affinity points earned using the buy now method. If you post buy orders and are patient it will cost around 5,000 stubs -
When will we be seeing these happen? Not that I think I have any chance of winning one lol. Seems it would be a great time given alot of people are home.

Jason vargas April 17 - 91 ovr - royals
Ryan Zimmerman april 17 - 91 ovr - nats
Mike leak april 17 - 89 ovr - cardinalsThese are some April rewards from 2017 that I think could be remade for this years game. I cant find the ones from 18 as easily as their online inventory is much harder to navigate

I think it's just that hitting is broken man. I played a dude earlier, his 86 mantle card hit a bomb on a pitch below the zone with "just early/ okay" swing result. Then my 99 mantle hit a "good/good" ball down the middle with pretty much perfectly centered and low placement for a routine flyball.
