So my controller literally updated on its own mid game and then when it was done, it would not let me reconnect my controller so I lost the game. How is this possible? And has this happened to anyone else? Incredibly frustrating.

Anyone know why there are random DD games (usually Ranked) where I know for sure my timing is fine, but the outputs are always off (early or late), and there seems to be a “lag” behind every swing or pitch? Is this just a peer 2 peer issue? Because sometimes it makes the game borderline unplayable.
I know it’s not my end of the connection because I’m wired at high speed. Just wondering if anyone knows how to mitigate these games!

After I said that, I checked my mini-seasons roster, of which I played 1 game at the very beginning of the year, and sure enough he was on that roster. Took him off and we are all good. Haha.

Yes I didn’t konoe about this until a couple day ago either. But it doesn’t seem to be working for me anyway (for S1 at least).

I checked every squad I have, even BR and Events, and he’s not on any roster. Still not showing up in the Exchange screen.

It’s not allowing me to go back and change my Season 1 CC. Am I missing something here, or do they not longer allow S1 exchanges now that Season 2 has started?

So occasionally I notice an obvious lag to my swing when hitting in online DD. It seems to happen usually when I’m the home team. The timing just seems waaaay off and laggy. Flailing 2 seconds after the fastball goes by when I know my swing timing was good. I know my connection is great, so it’s not on my end.
Is this a connection issue with my opponent? It really makes it difficult to hit when I feel like I’m seeing the ball well.

I haven’t gone 10-0 yet. Granted I haven’t played a TON of BR compared to some. I just feel like I used to go 12-0 relatively often and for whatever reason I’m struggling to ever feel locked/cracked for more than a game or 2 at a time. It’s kind of a bizarre feeling, but maybe my best days are behind me.

@Ledfoot_19 I tend to lean this way as well. It’s really one of the only explanations that makes sense for SDS. They don’t want the casuals never winning and ultimately putting the game down for good. Great point.

So I’m scrolling through the top rankings for this season and there are some teams with some records that just do not make logical sense. How does one actually go 53-0? How does one go 108-0? Something seems a bit fishy there. Anyone know what’s going on?

Yes, bloops happen. It’s baseball. I get it. I’m talking as a general percentage of total hits throughout a game though. It seems beyond realistic in DD.

I’m not sure if it’s just a fluke, but it seems the % of bad swings put into play for hits (DD Online) has to be higher than any previous release of this game. The percentage that go for hits just honestly seems BEYOND a realistic number, in my opinion. Would love to hear thoughts on this.

Is it just me or is it INSANELY hard to accumulate a good amount of stubs (no money spent of course) so far this year? I feel like I’ve been grinding like crazy and have been hovering around 65K and not increasing at all.

Is this by design so that people will pay up for stubs or am I just missing something here?

Much like real hitting, when you’re locked in it’s like you can’t lose. When you’re NOT locked in, however, this game can be insanely frustrating. Does anyone know the secret to staying locked in? It’s like my brain just DOES NOT work sometimes. Haha

I’m consistently late on LOTS of pitches in this event and it’s on all-star difficulty. I’m used to playing on HOF and Legend online and I’m not late on those difficulties. Is there some sort of lag/connection issue going on in this event? Anyone else noticing this at all or am I losing my mind? Haha

It’s insane to me how many legitimately good players there are now in this game. It seems like 95% of the time I’m playing someone who is well above average. I remember being pretty darn good back in 15-19 and now everyone is an absolute stud.
