It's nice to put out a lot of content, that's fine. But when you give Milestone cards or TN for single games (Paxton, Felix, Leiter, Giolito, etc.) that end up being better than pitchers that got cards for career numbers or an entire season (Maddux, Pedro, Gibson, Newhouser etc.) it's not cool.

H/9 to get inner PCI size reduction has become part of the meta now. I get pitch mix and such is still necessary as well, but if you don't have a certain H/9 the card becomes hard to use. You just dumped a bunch of good hitters, but almost none of the new pitching cards keep up with them.

You should incorporate K/9 as a factor in the inner PCI size as well or make it worth something. Guys like Pedro or Gibson don't even sniff the top 10 in the game.

Outfielders still not locking onto balls. Fielders running full speed at balls to the enter into a give up and stumble animation. Get your act together man, this just isn't fun.

Still waiting for usable cards from some of the best legends and LS players. Yet again here we are with a 21 year old Cristian Pache who hasn't stepped foot in a MLB Ballpark getting a 98 overall card.

I seem to remember a certain Braves CF who was already in the MLB at 19 and winning GG awards by the time he turned 21. You know the same guy who didn't get a card until the end of last year's game cycle.

We need to ramp up the content concerning the players everyone would like to use ‍️

I have never been bored in September with this game before. The PS is a month away and we've yet to see legitimate versions of:

Maddux, Orel, Walter, CY, Gibson Feller, Seaver, Smoltz, Newhouser, Gagne, Pudge, Carter, Bench, Thomas, Helton, Bagwell, Foxx, McCovey, Giambi, Gehrig, Biggio, Matthews, Boggs, Ripken, Rollins, Yount, Larkin, Honus, Banks, Rickey, Foster, Minoso, Irvin, Mays, Davis, Mantle, Griffey, Snider, Edmonds, Andruw, Puckett, Sheffield, Reggie, Gwynn, Kaline, Ruth, and Aaron... To name a few 🤪

Not to mention the lamest inning program to date, including the first 99 Pedro with H/9 lower than Joakim Soria. What on earth are we doing here? A Topps Now event in September with rewards that don't help with Mookie?

I don't play Madden, but I have friends that are picking it up that don't usually play it lol. Give us something here, anything. I'd gladly take on another Extreme Program or something.

Thank you all for joining our community, we're glad to have you. I know some people like the OP want to scare you about DD. The majority of us know that you've still been able to play games like Madden, FIFA, NBA 2K, NHL, etc. who require far more of your time and hard earned money to play with the cards you want.

You'll find DD is nothing like those modes. Your cards don't disappear, you don't have to Jack with multiple forms of currency, and you can skip paying extra money for a team to be able to compete.

I know sounds great right. You guys are going to love it here. See you on the diamond!

With the implementation of the three batter minimum rule it seems awfully counterintuitive to start relief pitchers with less than 100% stamina and have them deplete as quick as they do.

I'm sure these professional pitchers will adapt to the rule and have the stamina necessary to remain effective.

Let's throw them a bone SDS and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I've done so every year previously since 2015. I've always gotten a deluxe or expanded version since they've been offered.

I am choosing to not support your game in this manner because your product doesn't deserve it. Between the terrible online environment and gameplay issues I'm not supporting it any further.

We as sports game fans have been taken advantage of over the recent years since Ultimate Team modes have become the prioritized game modes. We get rushed and incomplete yearly installments where all progress is erased and we're fed mostly repetitive content with minimal game improvements.

I'll be waiting for the next release to drop before I even consider purchasing this game, or any game for that matter. I suspect my days of mainly playing sports titles is ending. I hope people take the same stance as I, because the gaming community deserves better.

You can't tell me a Signature Series Tom Glavine card will have the same overall as a John Lester card from last year.

Two time CY winner, WS MVP, and first ballot HOFer. Far better career and peak numbers than Lester.

You figured out a way to make Adam Jones a 96, work your magic SDS and fix this travesty, or remove the HR display ‍️

The RNG results windows are to high. My personal favorite is a ball completely in the top portion of the PCI with good timing can be anything from a pop up to the C to a HR.

Fielding is terrible, late jammed hits every where, RP can't be warmed up consistently and get shelled.

This game is a hot mess with a HR display more durable than Michael Myers.

Another year, another broken aspect of the game. I just lost an even game that went 7 innings. It was 0-0 going into the 4th inning. I scored two runs on multiple extra base hits. Every bottom of the inning I was blooped to death or had to watch 99 fielders not be able to make routine plays.

My opponent matched me run for run in the 4th,5th,6th, and ultimately the 7th inning when I was walked off. He scored 10 runs, 0 XBH. Yes that's right 0. Late and very late bloop singles or fielder's choices.

Absolutely disgusting quality of gameplay and we're not even a month into the release.

Can we address pitching at all? There are far more concerns in this area with RP stamina and effectiveness, SP constantly coming out of the pen, poor pitch location on good input, strike zone is too hitter friendly.

Pitching issues have been long been addressed on here as well as fielding issues. Pitching has yet to see any adjustments.

I really don't want to play MLB 18 all over again ‍️

This is ruining the game, esoecially online. It either drives the unnecessary comebacks or neuters good hitting inputs. There is no rational explanation that warrants the pitcher having a "confidence" rating that can affect the hit results. Pitchers don't will poor contact because they were "confident" in the pitch.

It hurts the game both ways and it's apparent when it takes over. I hate being on either side of it. Getting away with poor pitches on my end because my confidence is high. My favorite is the bloops I give up on great pitch inputs to [censored] timing that lower the confidence. Rest assured a hanger is coming if you aren't able to mound visit or make a change. There's just no reason to manipulate the gameplay for something that just doesn't make sense.

Individual pitch confidence makes perfect sense. That is realistic for baseball. Some days a pitcher has everything working, some days he doesn't. Having those individual pitch confidence meters and producing a positive/negative effect is a great idea.

If I decide to throw an up and in fastball and get a perfect input, but my opponent squares it up with good timing, let it get smoked. I'll know not to go back there. Vice versa if I throw a low and away slider out of the zone, my opponent swings very early and can't even get the inner PCI on it, let him swing and miss.

This is stupid, just stupid. I don't even like throwing pitches here but even still it doesn't matter.

There is no conceivable reason these balls should be fouled off, zero. I'm doing what I'm supposed too, getting the other player to have bad timing and chase bad pitches, but you're terrible programming/sliders is bailing them out. Lord help the ball that finally gets to close to the zone.

Are you still working on it? It's the most frustrating part about the game and was addressed in a patch once but is not close to being fixed.

Hitting and pitching go both ways and I can live with that. The fielding issues, animation locks into errors, throwing meter bugs, etc. are deciding games in unfair ways that don't represent baseball.

I and most everyone else just want to know if this is going to stay this way or are there improvements being worked on. I don't have much more patience to continue to play this game in h2h modes, nor will I continue to play if there aren't any changes in the works.

I'm not even going into the realm of sliders and PCI not touching the ball type stuff here. I mean animation goofs that cause missed plays. Pop ups the 1B can get to but it selects the OF instead and you can't switch to the 1B in time.

Repeatedly smacking R2 to force an error using your shiny new pitching input. Unrealistic player positioning and shifting. Being able to use R2 on the base paths to stop on a dime and change directions until you get a bad fielder animation.

The list goes on and you've done nothing to improve the toxic game environment despite two full months after release. Most of this stuff should've been nabbed in general quality control measures.

Keep throwing out the content because that's cool and takes hardly any time to put together though, it's so much fun to use it all.

I'm thankful to have a solid Custom League to play in. Speaking of which, can you turn on the Inside Edge and Paralell cards please. I don't want to be able to level up in CL, but I would like my Arenado IV to be allowed so I can somewhat use him.

The changes to hitting are not the problem, the problem is pitching/strike zone. Since they have taken away the edges of the zone hitters can sit and relax not worrying about chasing a pitch. The fact the edges are taken away forces the pitcher to throw more hittable pitches. These two together are the problem. Fix this and suddenly hitting isn't so easy.

Even so, PCI can still cover outside of the zone. Now that PCI'S are bigger and timing windows are opened up getting to them wouldn't be a problem. Sprinkle in some bombs with the PCI off the ball and it's all irrelevant.

Timing windows should've been the only adjustment to start with IMO for hitting

It was a well thought out post within the TOS of this website expressing my dissatisfaction with the state of this game.

You're argument to support the game is as weak as your insults. Free content does nothing when the gameplay sucks and the online environment doesn't work.
