So I keep track of all the diamonds I pull and with the exception of one that came as a result of a jersey collection reward, these are all strictly from free packs via the various reward paths and the Conquest maps in the last four days. Nothing crazy other than Scherzer which was cool since he was one of three guys I had left to complete the live series collection.

Last year it was like 2:00 or 3:00 AM EST if I'm not mistaken. Definitely wasn't midnight.

Like others have said, if you have the game on all three then yes you can. Just triple-dipped myself.

He’s never been worth his cost from an actual usability standpoint. His worth is obviously tied to being the perennial gatekeeper for the live series collection although he’s getting passed quite a bit these days. There are a ton of better OF options if completing the live collection is not your motivation.

Let's not forget for any newbies around here that stub sales inflate the market big time, basically negating the sale price. As crazy as it sounds you're better off buying packs with sale stubs you buy unless you're willing to sit on them until the market normalizes again.

You will overpay big time on the marketplace plain and simple.

I have to assume it was being up double digits with a position player on the mound. Probably intended for it to appear that you're not trying to run up the score that ultimately backfired but nobody can be mad given the situation. Pretty perfect scenario actually lol

Forgive me as I'm sure this was communicated somewhere, but one of the headliners packs I got from the Mothers Day Conquest map was a choice pack where I got to first pick a diamond jersey and then I got to pick between Wagner and Carpenter. Are these common or were they all like that? I didn't pay close attention and assumed it was a regular headliners pack.

This is always going to be a thing, as people who have the money to burn will buy their way to the top. Best way to combat it is to not watch these streamers and cut down on their monetizing of the game. I’ve personally never watched a streamer in my life because I spend all my free time actually playing the game, but kids these days seem to get a kick out of watching these guys for whatever reason.

No lefties that I’ve seen out of the pen in 18 tries so far. Live Series is 64 power right vs 70 for diamond. But the best part? Well aside from this being a moment for him as a NATIONAL? Inside Edge has him down as a silver today so it’s just dumb and lazy. Maybe tomorrow his IE will be up.

I’m not a big ol’ baby like a lot of people when it comes to moments, but when you have a 2 XBH hit moment and give us the gold Angel version of Rendon instead of his Nats diamond, I have to wonder if it was “bring your kid to work day” today and you just handed over the keys.

Those of us who preordered still have the advantage of one extra card from the series so the benefit still holds true. All things being equal we’re at the exact same point as before. Not sure what there is to complain about. I went digital deluxe on all three systems so I’ve had Miggy, Tatis, and Ohtani from day one and I still see this as a total win.

You love comment on these types of posts. Agreed play the game, but they made xp the end all be all so let's not act shocked when people lose motivation to grind when they've maxed out

Except grinding isn't the point of the game. Playing it is.

Strongly disagree. Diamond dynasty is a grind, it's a pursuit of diamond cards. If there were no grinding in DD it would be called franchise or season mode. Or what it's becoming, "everybody gets a trophy mode".

If we wanted to just kick back and enjoy a baseball sim video game than franchise is 100% a better option.

All my opinions of course.

I guess I assume people that play this game enjoy baseball. Yes DD is meant to be a grind but if you max out then play one of the many other modes (like you mentioned franchise) the game has. Or gasp play a totally different game!

I personally like the amount as I will struggle to hit the max but think I will assuming there's another collection bonus or program coming.

Wasn’t meant to be condescending at all. Just a suggestion. I have over 700 digital games between the three major systems yet do you know how many I play from April - November/December? Exactly one. So I can’t even take my own advise because that’s how stupid nuts I am over baseball. If I had more free time I might get bored with it like others apparently do.

So I guess my main point is that if you’re a big baseball fan then there should always be something you can find to play within The Show no matter what. If you strictly only do DD and max things out within a week of it being live then maybe understand you’re in the vast minority and explore other gaming options or hobbies. Expecting a developer to cater to the outliers is an unrealistic ask.

Dude’s paid his price. Do you know how many scumbags there are in pro sports? If he’s not actually found guilty of anything against the law, the court of public opinion alone shouldn’t keep him from his job. Her texts proved she wanted it kinky and there’s nothing wrong with that between consenting adults. I don’t like the guy but he should be playing baseball.

He got screwed over more than anyone with the initial ratings. He should only go up.

I think it’s great. In a perfect world flipping would not be a thing or involve an ungodly amount of effort to pull off. Some will still find a way which is unfortunate.

Ohtani is nowhere to be found in the Angels lineup either. Nice cover boy treatment lol

I mean I guess if you can play with guys who have been dead for decades why pretend to mimic real baseball? It would be like if Madden just took out field goals because they thought it would be more fun.
