I understand that you have received criticism for the inaccuracy of the games but it’s impossible to get into with good play frequently being punished. While pitching I throw mostly perfect pitches and yet they can still hit them consistently. Even when I mess up they usually don’t hit it which infuriates me because it seems like it doesn’t even matter. Hitting is even worse. Again I get you want accuracy and not every “good” hit will be a single. At the same time though I have gotten out more times than gotten a hit on perfect hits. That’s ridiculous, getting out once in a blue moon would make sense but for how difficult batting is already it makes no sense. Yet if I barely even put the ball in my hitting zone and are super late or early I doink it into the outfield for a hit that’s a great system. It just infuriates me that good play is consistently left to chance even “perfect” play is more often than not just going to disappoint you. How can you expect new players to want to play if it feels like it doesn’t even matter if you improve at the game.
