@GoldenGamingKM_PSN I hear you, pretty much the same boat. It’s nice to get a chance to unwind after spending the day getting yelled at by clients and coworkers. “Why are you still showing up here? We fired you months ago!” You know how it goes with those jokesters.

I’m also lucky in that my son is of the generation that finds a simple joy in watching people play video games. He usually ends up asking me about the players in my lineup, which is pretty cool, hope when yours gets older you get the same experience.

It’s cool that when I was kid, I would use my baseball cards to make my own imaginary team replacing them as I went along when I could get new packs. Now through the wonders of technology I get to have that same simple mindless fun that I did when I was a boy.

Why not figure this stuff out before the program goes live? Whatever I guess.

Could be the TV as well, should send that in for service along with the PS5, better to be safe than sorry…

@bpwildbill11_PSN honest question, why exactly WWE? Is there some natural connection that I’m missing, or just that you personally enjoy both?

Having had both in the previous generation, I’d recommend playstation over xbox in general, especially if you have a gaming rig.

I currently have a PS5, my Switch lite, a Steamdeck, and my PC - use the Nintendo the most since I am forced to take a lunch break at my firm. I slightly dislike the Steamdeck and wish I didn’t buy it, but whatevs.

@CBrev47_MLBTS So, and before any more time gets wasted, when exactly are you going to revise the MiLB Awards moments? Is it always four days after release or typically more of a Monday thing?

I use the game mostly as therapeutic mindless stress relief to unwind from my job (and hide from my kids and wife). Don’t really have a firm schedule to get the games in and don’t really feel like paying for a ps subscription.

Long time lurker, relatively new poster. Just curious based on reading different perspectives on a few posts, is there like a huge swing in ages around these parts? I’m in my early 40s, I’d reveal my actual age, but honestly, most days I can’t even remember it.

In short, is this forum for children, or… am, am I the child???

I have to say showdowns are my least favorite game mode. Short with runners on base, long with a double digit deficit, neither are my cup of tea.

To make a long story short, I am on a rotation of every-other year with this game, so I really haven’t given this much thought before now.
I’m also not sure if this is a dumb question (my specialty) or has been asked and answered many many many times. So, apologies in advance.

Is there a reason why speed and stealing aren’t/can’t be overpowered like the batting stats? Like why wouldn’t Rickey, and sure Lou Brock, have a 125 steal rating? I’m just curious like a cat, that’s why my friends call me whiskers…

@beatlesnews_PSN to give you a serious answer, I must say I wouldn’t say no to adding a New Orleans Pinheads cap to my collection personally, but, not sure if enough would feel the same way to cover production costs.

I would never buy the generic MLBTS caps/shirts some of the beautiful in-game fans in the stands wear.
