Just a thought.....Event lineups in the pre-submission screen should automatically populate with the last lineup you used.

Good underrated 2h swing (Switch is always a plus)....does nothing bad or great behind the dish. If you have good PCI placement I'd go Wieters because he's lights out behind the plate and you still get the switch-hitting. I only prefer Sandoval because I benefit from the vision/contact because I'm a spaz with my PCI.

So what is becoming an annual soapbox for me...SDS, please update your generic cleat graphics. What a surprise I was in for when I prestiged both Hershiser and Leiter only to reveal that they are wearing those awful generic cleats. You know the ones that look like Yeezy Wave Runners that a child drew. This reveal was especially egregious because both non-prestiged versions of these cards wear regular (Nike, Mizuno) cleats. Now I have an eyesore when I use these cards I grinded so long for. Thanks, SDS.
How is a game and fanbase that is this detail-oriented miss this every year? I mean, just look at how excited the community got because they thought they were getting customizable Stance socks this inning (another problem/bug they choose to ignore). Come on, you all make too much money off of us to be this lazy.

Santana is great (balanced switch hitter) and can play catcher. People are sleeping on David Peralta. He has a great swing and is serviceable against lefties. He also has gold defensive rating with matching reaction rating.

So for the past couple of years, I've been complaining/imploring SDS to update their generic cleat models on these forums. Mostly I do this because I find grinding for legends only for them to be wearing block/goofy cleats annoying. Other users have also lampooned me for whining and not acknowledging other problems with the game. I recognize those, but I do not know how to fix them or think it is realistic to ask for major rehauls to the gameplay. Plenty of users do that already anyway.
So instead of complaining, I recently submitted some feedback to SDS through a PPT presentation, where I offer a solution for a potential update. Who knows if the design team ever sees it. However, I figure I might as well put my money where my mouth is. I have included a link to this PPT presentation and would like to know what the Nation thinks. Any upvote or constructive feedback is appreciated.

So you don't use Andre Dawson because of his cleats even though he is your favorite player? Also, are you saying players from different eras have different generic cleat styles based on that era? I have never noticed any of that. I'm too busy trying to track the ball and hit dingers.
I play this game too much and am a world series level player. So I guess design details start becoming more salient. Yes, I have never used an Andre Dawson card because he looks so generic that it bothers me. So if I have a choice between say Eric Davis (who they did right) or Dawson, I'll pick Davis.
Yes, SDS uses two generic models for all players without branding associated with the show. One is used for more modern players (e.g., Alomar), which I tried to illustrate with the PPT.

I think most people that struggle with him rely too much on batting stance animations for timing. He has a static stride, which can mess up some player's ability to time the ball. Same reason people are mixed on Ryne Sandberg and Mike Schmidt.

Thames is the best option. However, I will say that Jram is better than given credit despite his weak stats against left-handers. Jram is really good for free-swinging hitters with spazzy PCI placement like me. He has extremely high vision/discipline, which makes him a hard out.....I usually can foul off pitches for days with him.

The Jorge Alfaro Topps Now card is a sneaky good catcher...has everything you want at the position...balanced hitting stats, great swing, gold defense (99 arm more importantly), and 76 speed to boot.

What are everybody's favorite glitchy swings this year? A new one I have found is Prospect Jasson Dominguez, who keeps playing above his stats for me.

Need a new Catcher, picked up Pablo for 53k. Worth it?
