Another legend of the game has left us
2020 continues to remind us how much it sucks
-
Just wanted to take a min to just say how much fun the content in July was. From the release of TA stage 3 up to today's final drop for the month it's been crazy how good it was. SDS live team has been killing it
-
Nope keep it as it is, the exchange is ment to be an Express pass, you want to get to the front of the line there is a fee to pay it's that simple
-
Its Free
-
-
Stopped chasing Live series collections - pack luck sucks so not something I worry to much about now. Yes I would love those 3 cards but I'm not stressing my self over trying to find away to get all the LS diamonds
-
Events - 5 wins a night is my goal if I get there quick might shoot for a few more but overall that's it get to the next reward then shut it down.
-
MTO - this is how I relax now set to VET and just play and work towards TA and build stubs and packs up
-
RS team builds - I'm not making WS so I just put teams together ie. All Phillies, All BO player what ever and see if I can win knowing my real goal here is TA innings and any mission for Player and POTM programs
-
I cant have everything. - I will not own every card in the game so I focus on what I want and ease of acquiring those cards. WS rewards wont ever win so maybe I just spend stubs to get. FoTF cards I'll just do MTO because it's the easier way while still playing
These are the main things I am doing to enjoy this game more now and I haven't logged off at night flustered in over a week. Some nights I mix all of this in some night I focus on 1 thing and I'm happier for it. I am sharing because I think we all get so caught up in cashing every card and every win that we lose the fun. Yes the game has issue and they aren't going away so we either have to find away to play within the system or drive yourself to insanity. I choose to have fun cause I am already insane
-
-
I haven't had chance to play yet but I guessed right on the market and unloaded mostly everything now I'm sitting on 700k stubs and can have my pick at what ever I want.
So for not playing in game I have had a tone of fun so far
Side note the forum has been awesome today alot of good conversation and debate but very little negativity which was pretty awesome so thanks to everyone on here
-
I completed the Live series collection so now I just get up to 15k and rip packs for fun and dump everything into TA exchanges and I enjoy the rush
-
26-19
RS been a rough go lately so sticking to events where I suck just as equally but it's over faster

If you didn't think SDS hated us, you got your answer last night.
Disagree
This was a bug and was never intended to be part of the game so they removed it.
Simple as that
-
I look for high in the zone fastballs and hit a good amount of my home runs
-
This program is what I have been waiting for, alot of mission to collect a small number of stats from differnt teams and players.
Well put together and allowing a grind like this offline is great. Yes you have to collect 35 Topps Now and that's not everyone's thing but overall it's just a good gring for some good cards and a great final reward.
Makes me wonder if this was the plan all year and the first 4 POTM lighting cards where ment to be the collection rewards
-
Looking forward to the market crash that will follow once these drop

@Malikeve said in Stub sale:
Give them ur money pathetic for virtual 1 year card
I'm spending my money on a game where I stay home and limit my time in public places. I'd say I'm doing more of a public health service by doing this really.

The new conquest map tomorrow will have the potential to shake up the market in a number of ways.
Here are some things to consider between now and tomorrow if you are holding on to cards and thinking of selling.
1st off if you are going to sell I suggest sell now as the market will never be higher then it is now.
Headliners - anything headliners set 1-25 will likely be in play as a number of cards in these sets are sky high (PS Bench and Matheson). I would suspect we see 3 HL packs included. I also think there is an outside chance we see a Guaranteed headlines set 1-25 pack in the map which would really alter the market for sure.
HRD packs - we will see only 1 of these packs in the map likely set 1
Prospect packs - like the HRD packs only 1 set will appear likely set 1
BIAH - 5 of these will be on the map to likely help stabilize the gold market a bit.
Topps Now - The opening day pack will be included so you will see those cards dip almost to QS value.
Beyond that I dont see anything else crazy included in the maps just yet but consider what is in your inventory and look to sell now at worst you sell now then buy back Wednesday morning after the dust settles from map being completed

@SchnauzerFace said in Prime vs SS ... huh?:
Yo what’s the difference between Prime and SS? I get that Prime represents their “prime” years, but isn’t that basically what SS is — a composite of their best seasons? It looks like Frank’s MLB 20 Prime is a little better than his MLB 19 SS.
Frank’s card art gives me butterflies. Like when I come home and see Robin Yount sunbathing nude on my couch.
Yount is still looking for that man...maybe Frank is the perfect fit. Prime is based off of their best years and sig is based off of their whole career
So a Prime should, in theory, be the better card? Because an SS is based off a full career so it would also have to incorporate data from their worst years, right?
It just seems like they’re making up attributes kind of at random either way.
Pretty much
It's like whose line is it anyways
The rules are made up and points dont matter
-
A great player can now get double the rewards, these changes a big wins
-
I wish they would include mission for the henchmen towards the program, for example get 10 hits online with Rookie Ted Williams for 10 points just adds more ways to get stars and promotes the use of these cards
-
Showdown is a great addition to the game and actually requires to be play differnt from most modes.
You need patience to wait for your pitch and take walks to out pressure on the pitchers.
The mode is about winning for sure but the Stub and XP your earn while playing is a win in its self.
I'm not saying it's perfect and there are elements that feel off but to say it needs to be completely removed is a little of an over reaction.

Ok so this morning I finished off the Stage 3 of TA and have all 30 FoTF along with Mantel and Trout. I complete all of this with a mixture of lucky pulls, investing and a couple of stub bundles durning sales. I finished most TA programs via exchanges just as a point as I only have 2 -3 hours to play at day
I have this great sense of relief now with this game because I can now just play and not worry about innings for this team or hoping for a good pull.
Now I can do my team builds and work on programs and moments.
To anyone who has done the same what are you playing for now and to those still working on these things what question do you have that maybe I can provided some feedback on to help
Yes I know this sounds like a brag post and maybe in part that it is but hoping to spark some morning discussion while having my cup of joe
FYI DOTP pack POTM collection
