You can only use season 3 players for the seasons awards program missions like the Topps nows missions and the season awards missions but the general missions you can use any players from any season

I might be totally misunderstanding you but I think what you might be seeing is the players Vision rating being reflected by the PCI indicators. I’ve noticed when you look at your feedback there are very clear changes reflected by whichever of the three swing types used also

But they are not prioritizing gameplay. There have been several patches, and no gameplay adjustments.
instead we get monsters and alien spaceships hovering above the stadium and a new round of expiring cards.
There is no acceptable excuse for this annual uniform blunder. Very irritating.
