    I think part of SDS concern - or at least some of the community's concern - is "boosting" - having your teammate's get PXP for you

    A solution could be that you only earn PXP for your own pitching and at bats. That is super penalizing, but if we can get 1/2 or 1/3 PXP, that is better than 0 PXP. It should, however, work like BR where you can earn PXP even if you don't own the card

    Turned cross-play off last night. Wasn't able to get a game. Turned it back on, immediately found an opponent

    I am on Xbox Series X. I have not disabled cross-play, yet

    Out of 22 co-op games played in full release - five of them being 2v2, the rest 3v3 - 6 have frozen. It doesn't seem high, but over 25% is a lot and it is particularly painful when it is happening once a night, just leaves a bad taste

    Why does MLB The Show 2023 full release not have Co-op PXP?

    During the MLB The Show 2023 tech test, co-op provided PXP. Now, I will note that it didn't always work perfectly - sometimes 3/3 folks received PXP, sometimes 2/3, from what we saw just over three games; however, if you take those 3 games multiplied by the 3 players, you have 9 instances of potential PXP. 8/9 times, it worked. That's a pretty good result, but it seems that since sometimes it doesn't work, the decision was to kill it entirely. I don't think that is a solution the community would agree with

    Adding ranked rewards, innings rewards, and returning to 9 innings were all great improvements from 2022; however, the lack of PXP and freezes makes co-op still the most fun game mode but also the least rewarding for your time

    Good idea on the starter energy out of the bullpen - will add. It's especially an issue with only 6 inning games, just exacerbates it

    Is that when your own teammate quits, you lose that ability / the game glitches and you cannot adjust your defensive shift set? I had figured if one of your teammate quits, the game ends for everyone

    Note: edited on 7/13 to revise ordering and add suggestions from the community

    Thought I would try to consolidate what I have seen in this forum over the past month or so. Please let me know if you agree with these items, if you have suggestions, or if you would rank them differently. Perhaps one thread that everyone contributes to can get some attention.

    Essential Wish List

    • Return to 9 innings OR allow users to choose between 3 / 6 / 9 inning games

    • Add any form of rewards - packs or cards for innings played, wins, anything

    Lower Priority Wish List

    • Some form of PXP able to be earned [to be discussed in comments]

    • A card's parallel level (P0/P1/P2/P3/P4/P5) should be contributed by the player who provided that card, not the host/first player. As is, if the host/first player does not have Mike Trout but the second or third player contributes Mike Trout, Mike Trout will be P0, regardless of what parallel he is by that player that provided him. If, however, the host has P5'd Albert Pujols and the second or third player contributes Albert Pujols, it will be P5 Albert Pujols, again, regardless of what parallel he is by that player that provided him.

    • Given that it is July, increase the overall of the automatically assigned players (i.e., ones that are not contributed by any player) to Golds instead of Silvers OR increase the number of position players that teams can contribute, up to and possibly including bench spots (thanks to @ElCapitan006_XBL for the suggestion)

    Bug Fix List

    • Move the Starting Pitcher selection screen to before the lineup screen or remove it. It does nothing.

    • Fix the bug preventing you from viewing the active hitter at any time (unable to cycle between active pitcher to active hitter in pause screen)

    • Add increased fatigue to starting pitchers that come out of the bullpen OR do not allow starting pitchers to come out of the bullpen. In a 6 inning game, the need for relievers is even less when Randy Johnson is guaranteed to either start the game or come in relief (thanks to @BRETTSANT05_PSN for the suggestion)

    • Fix the bug that when a teammate quits, the remaining team is no longer able to adjust their defensive shift (thanks to @John3221_PSN for the suggestion)

    It's unfortunate. I don't think folks were looking for quicker games or calling for this, so the reason was only to either a) make a change to co-op so more folks try it out/increase participation; or b) reduce time in game to reduce overall instances of freezes

    Why are we going to six inning games? Who asked for that? How was this surveyed?

    We hardly saw relief pitchers utilized before, now we will never see them

    Not a good look after co-op hasn't been touched since launch. Yikes.

    Certainly would like to see:

    1. PXP
    2. innings/ranked rewards
    3. something unique reward wise for co-op
      In that order.

    Agree on the filling the whole roster. Perhaps they could just boost the fill-in players? Started at silver. Go gold for July and move them to low diamonds August, higher diamonds September?

    Agree. The mode launched without rewards because it was not stable. While not perfect, it is leagues better than it was now at launch - at least from what I have seen.

    It is time to add rewards (wins / innings?) and PXP, at a minimum

    Would also love to see a fix where the teammate that provides a card also provides their PXP with that card instead of defaulting to the host's PXP with all contributed cards
