This penalty is making the game completely unplayable for me and my friends. We only play together and we don’t rage quit (sometimes a joint forfeit via the menu if we’re getting stomped). On what seems like a nightly basis at this point we eventually hit a freeze off and our options are sit there and wait and hope the other team quits or call it a night because we have to be the ones to quit and are now up to a 4+ hour cooldown. Not sure who this is designed to benefit. I have to imagine most people playing co-op are playing with friends so even your odd rage quit is only annoying your own people. Just turn it off please.
