Little League World Series: Championship Series on NES is still one of the best Baseball games I've played.

I'll defend it some. A lot of people on these forums are being hyperbolic calling the game "unplayable". I played 4 online games last night (3 Battle Royal games and a Ranked Season game) as well as 3-4 Conquest games. None of my online games ended 1-0 or 2-1. I scored 4+ runs in each one except one of the BR games which I lost. I felt I was rewarded for the times I made good contact and didn't really feel cheated any. I didn't come across any defensive glitches or crazy animations (although I have in previous sessions just none last night).

My one complaint which is made all the time here is the pitching. Between umps squeezing you with the zone and now it is much harder to hit location the pitching could use some tweaking.

Other than that I had a fun night playing. When I did play pre patch I felt the game was rewarding poor swings at a much higher rate and it was nearly impossible to strike batters out. So far I am enjoying it, but maybe I have just not ran into the issues others have.

So when you are about to win a game because you scored a couple runs off of hits outside the zone I guess you quit and give your opponent the win right?

I am hoping he has a throw down with the other team option when you get mad.

I went to the bottom of the 9th earlier in the year winning 6-2. My opponent had 3 hits up to that point with 2 being solo HRs. Opponent proceeds to hit 5 straight HRS off of 2 pitchers on about 12 pitches to walk it off.

I still log on and have fun.

Sandlot rules. You lost the ball so its an out.

It seems like there should be a collect monthly Zimmerman card somewhere that once locked in would let you unlock stage 2

This forum is the same every year during the first month. Can't wait for all the cry babies to finally shutup and stop playing.

I have been hunting sub 300 78s overalls. I think it takes 12 or 13 of them plus 1 card worth 800 exchange points to get to 50,000

Sometimes I can find them for as little as 270. Sometimes they are right around 300. Either way it is about 4,000 stubs per 50,000 exchange points.

Don't like DD, play ranked online, or join an online league.

Don't like online? Fine, there is March to October, Road to the Show, Franchise, or just try and get the top score in the Weekly Challenge.

As others have said you have 1 in 50 odds. If you want to understand the odds go to this website and roll a D50. You only get a diamond on a roll of 50.

I just did it and to hit for first 50 it took 77 rolls.

The fact that you got 3 in 150 packs is actually pretty decent.

Nope. They have mentioned numerous times that Perfect/Perfect is not a guaranteed HR.

I just had the worst beat I’ve ever had online.

Up 6-2 with 2 outs to go in the 9th. Out hit my opponent to that point 12-3. He had a solo Hr in 1st and 7th. Oswalt had pitched 8 innings for me but I pinched hit for him in the 8th so bring in Mariano Rivera to finish game. After Rivera got the first out he gives up 3 straight solo HRs. I go to bullpen with the Diamond Garrett that was just released. He gives up 2 solo hrs for my opponent to walk me off.

My opponent either took a ball or as soon as the ball was anywhere in the zone even though it was paint it went for a solo hr.

Just playing and doing the different mission, collections in the game. I finally went into the Create a Player collections and locked those all in. That nets you around 25K or more stubs.

There is always flipping cards on the marketplace but I've never really had the patience to do it and currently the returns are pretty bad.

How many times have you seen 20 strikeouts followed by 5 home runs in a row?

Exactly. I can understand if the guy was hitting me or my buddy hard all game, but in my game my opponent had 3 hits. 2 Were solo Hrs on balls I missed and left up. The other hit was some weak seeing eye single. Other than that it was all lazy flyballs or strikeouts. In my buddies game the guy couldn't even make any contact since 20 of the 27 outs were strikeouts, but in both these games all of a sudden 5 straight solo HRs. The odds of that happening are just astronomical.

Yes I did it in under an hour without playing anything online. Not that I don’t play online but I was to drunk last night so stuck with offline stuff

This board for years complains about how everyone’s team is loaded with the same legends

SDS releases better versions of current players cards to increase variability in teams and this board now complains about that.

This fanbase is toxic.

I'm still working on it, but some of my tips are.

1. Hope you don't have Oswalt as the final showdown. German Marquez is probably the easiest to hit from the start. Jansen gets easier to hit once you can work his energy and confidence down.

2. Load up on good Lefty hitters.
