...as an offline, NMS player with a job, it just isn't fair.
295,000 out of 500,000 xp. How am I supposed to come up with 200,000 xp in 3 days.
I'm right there with you. Can't justify the time it takes.

I cannot justify the time it takes to earn the XP required to finish the innings in the time allotted.
It's that simple - I can't spend 2+ hours a day on this game - i just don't have time.
It's sad too because I like the game mode.
Only thing I can really do is stop buying the game every year and just play other modes.
Conquest is the worse offline, it's so freakin boring, or like the OP said busy work.
Do you know what would make conquest better? Having the AI actually try to win the map. You know, the part that's like the board game Risk. The AI never tries to win. They never try to zerg one of your strongholds and cut it off from reinforcements.
It's just brain dead busy work between baseball games.
Are you guys confusing rookie difficultly with beginner difficultly?
Are you saying you want beginner difficultly added to DD mode?
Rookie and Veteran difficultly are both extremely easy. Wait for a good pitch and clobber it. Work the count. It's baseball.
All-star difficultly is the default game difficulty and I win and lose games on that level.
Rookie and veteran - you can't lose if you pay attention.
For me, veteran is just too easy (I blow teams out every game) and All-Star is slightly too hard. I often win or lose by a run or two.
People have been stealing bases against me since 2021 and I had no idea that slide stepping was even a thing I could do.
That has extra basses written all over it.... ball goes straight to the outfielder.
lol all this BS about Xbox players... The bot I played against was on Play Station
I won the game 12 to 0 and I'm not really good at the game, especially online. They pitched right down the middle almost every pitch and seemed liked they weren't even trying to win.
Is this a thing?
Seems like they are using bots to write the [censored] code now.
Game is a giant mess.
How is this game still this broken even after updates, or somehow worse?
Mini Seasons pitching stamina is still a mess. Before the update, starting pitchers in a 9-inning game could barely make it 3 innings and relievers about 2–3. Now it feels even worse. Starters are struggling to get through 2 innings and relievers sometimes barely last 1–2.
Menus are still lagging and slow to load at times.
Hitting feels off again too. I’m getting more non-PCI home runs and hits than perfect-perfect contact, which makes no sense and isn’t rewarding at all.
Servers are still shaky, the 20-card max issue , and balls and strikes are inconsistent. Pitches clearly in the zone get called balls, and SDS still promotes this as a “perfect strike zone” when it doesn’t play like one.
Freeze-offs are still in the game and should’ve been fixed years ago. PCI shrinking still feels like a problem even after being “fixed.”
There are so many issues I could keep going, but the point is this game needed more time. It feels like it should’ve been delayed and properly tested before release.
This is exactly why sports games shouldn’t come out every single year. Give it more time and actually fix things instead of pushing it out broken. Honestly, it shows sports games as a whole should be released every two years.
Don't you mean every 4 years?
They could sell us roster updates in the off years.
Yep, first game of the season - I hit a home run and the announcer said it was my 5th of the season and then my stats said I had 7.
I have lots of players whose base stats are higher than the current player that the game picks for that position.
Example an 88 who is boosted through parallels to 91 gets the spot over a new card that is level 90 but hasn't leveled up yet.
It becomes a chore.
Would love to just choose to create a new squad based of off non-boosted stats.
Now instead of my pitchers being stuck with 3 inning stamina after game 1, it's the AI team whose stamina is stuck at 3 inning stamina after the first game.
Well, they did fix the miniseasons stamina issue, and I have been having fun playing 9 inning MS games.
It's still broken. Sure my pitchers now have full stamina, however my opponents pitchers are still stuck with 3 inning stamina after the first game.
Same issue, but now it affects the AI team instead of your team.
Still broken.
When you go to select a mod, when you highlight one, why doesn't it show which stats are going to get affected and by how much?
Like for example: if I highlight the gold level power mod, why doesn't it list +9 power L, +9 power R?
Other mods you will gain some stats to one attribute and lose some of another, again why doesn't it show it? Why do I have to look at the stats before and after and do the math?
Am I missing something?
sorry wrong forum

Well, it's DD so it's set to competitive mode where your skills with the sticks are more important than the stats on the cards.
You'd have to play online against someone where you can set it to simulation mode and use at least all star difficulty.
