This event is so skewed against pitching. What a pain to get Lefty Grove. Seriously broken and disgusting.

I replay when someone else starts it up OR when I hit one with a pitcher.

What did they do in this last update to ruin pitching? Can’t throw consistent strikes in Ruth Moments.

Why all of a sudden is pitching complete [censored]? The pitches are so inaccurate on DD games vs cpu, even with 99 Smoltz. What have they done to ruin the game?

While that would be nice, the points you get for showdown are the reward for going the harder route. They shouldn't reward people the same amount of points for taking the easy way out.

Curious thing how Showdown fielders move so fast to the ball but my fielders move like they’re running through 3 feet of water.

I saw Carlos Santana make a Superman dive for a ball at first base. Didn’t know such a fat guy could move like that.

Showdown is a rigged pile of [censored]. I literally had an easy fly out to end a game. The cpu froze my fielder and let it drop. Screw job.

Don’t waste your time. Starts off easy and then cpu has you hit lazy popouts on good contact with great players. It is a complete joke.

Bad idea. The guy has 103 stamina.

Brady Singer makes Pedro Martinez look like a Little Leaguer

Don’t even try repeating Stage 2 AL Showdown. It is easy the first time. However, if you get Brady Singer for the final boss, just go ahead and quit out. He must be the single greatest pitcher to ever be in MLB The Show. His pitches change direction all over the place. Squaring up a pitch means a pop out. The game is totally rigged. I was popping up with 99 Reggie Jackson and 99 Mickey Mantle, it is so bad. Don’t try getting his pitch counts up, either, as he never tires. Fix your s&$t, Show!
