I can add a few pointers for the old-timers:

1. Find blueprints for time machine.
2. Build time machine, set back 25 years.
3. When lady at bar asks you if you want to meet her friend, say no (may not apply to all of you).

I make my home nice and hospitable. You will get to play in a minor league park, in the evening, nice moderate temperature. The host is usually 2-3 drinks in so already slow reflexes are powered with liquid confidence, a not winning combination. You would be missing all of these benefits by simply quitting.

Given now nice he is, I am guessing he would tell me that I will simply, "gittem next time slugger".

Not sure that story helps you value the card but if you buy him and suck, he would not be insulted.

I hit better with Yasmani Grandal than real life Grandal will ever be able to achieve. If he had my skills, hall of fame easy.

I would also recommend a “slump buster”. Do you have a boatload of alcohol in your house and a country bar near you? I know you will tell me about the quarantine but this is exactly the time you will find her. You take one for the universe and boom, hitting is back baby! I work at a hospital. I would much rather watch digital players not catch fly balls, Jackie Robinson fail to hit anything more than a weak fly ball, or my pitcher float random pitches directly over the middle of the plate than most anything I see at work. All about perspective.

Houston guy is the one you want. Do the first three for a few extra bats. He throws a dead middle changeup 70% of the time and you can foul off the fastball if you miss it.
