Has the Astros been fixed to where you can start pitchers NOT named Verlander!?! I’ve been playing this game for years and as a online rated guy only,IMO this is the funkiest bug I’ve encountered lol I don’t wanna run to LA/NY when I’m at the bottom of my rotation lol

Exactly @HustlinOwl_PSN some people think they should swing at every strike meanwhile I’m watching meatballs past by if it’s a high tier pitcher. It’s a great strategy my guy,especially if ya play on Legend (maybe HoF too,idk how that plays) as I’m 23-0 right now and keeping tissues on standby because that first L is gonna hurt lol

I 100% believe that @b00std_mark_II he’s been petrified ever since he signed Albert Belle to what was considered to be a big contract at the time 5yrs 65 mil then he only played 2 seasons of it then retired and Angelos still had to pay him

May be a strategy they use too. If my opponents team has a average to weak bullpen but a good to elite SP my goal becomes to drive the pitch count up because I play on Legend and good pitchers force a lot of outs even against good/perfect timings that’s perfectly squared up so I apply a few rules. No swinging at first pitches,only aggressively swing at edge pitches with 2 strikes because I trust my eye to not swing at dirt balls,high pitches,sliders breaking out the zone and etc when up 3-0 in the count im guaranteed to not swing at the next 2 pitches and before ya know it,pitch count is up. Sounds like he was pretty disciplined and trying to get ya pitch count up.

Im on PS5 but from what I’ve been told by people I know with both consoles,Xbox has had the 120 hZ option from the get go without a patch being needed and for what it’s worth,the Xbox VRR works better too for those who have compatible TVs/Monitors which isn’t many people if I go by the responses I get when I say I love the VRR update lol pretty hilarious that a game made by PS Studios is better on the competitions hardware and free with Gamepass. Welcome to 2022 folks

Is it still broke? I’m 20-0 right now playing only on legend but I’m down to the bottom of my rotation and frankly I rather ask then risking checking it myself and getting a tired Verlander lol I mean Verlander IMO is one of the easiest aces to hit as is and doesn’t need to be any easier lol appreciate whoever answers!

I wish it showed who your opponent was picking like the old days,I feel their would be more regular team games going on. Atleast I know I would straight bring out my O’s lol I play for fun but Also play to win cuz winning is fun lol I’m not trying to use the O’s against the top teams,people will be hitting very early HRs off our horrible pitching

Is this what’s causing online rated to force me to use my ace every game no matter how tired?

Go to the leaderboards,hit square/x to view your friend leaderboard and then click on your name… that’s the only way it works

I use to use the Orioles everytime my 1st(Dylan Bundy),2nd (Kevin Gausman) and 4th (Ubaldo) back in 18 and as seen in my universal profile I still had a nice record but using them this year is basically begging to lose I love all things Baltimore but my competitiveness along with my love of winning just won’t let me even try such a daredevil move I only play on Legend and their pitching is soooooo bad it would still look like a HR derby anyways yea man,I sent them a report and email with proof of the guy causing the freezing. I don’t expect anything but I’m guessing they don’t know what causes it and/or can’t patch it for whatever reason. I would be satisfied if they atleast took my suggestions on how to improve our chances of not running into these guys constantly

I would like to join you in doing so bro idc if it’s just a game,me along with millions of other people in this world are extremely competitive and their isn’t anything wrong with that. I recognize ya name,you’re always a top 20 player and do it legitimately so respect to you I’ve changed my name a couple times but I was a perennial top 50 player myself for years but I ended up going on a show hiatus after show 18 and just returned within the last month. I bought 19 & 20 but for whatever reason I just couldn’t really get into it,I actually blame the hiatus on the Orioles being so bad Anyways I’m hoping this doesn’t become such a reoccurring thing that I end up not wanting to play anymore which I honestly doubt will happen because I really do enjoy it regardless of the issues but I really hope they think of something to help us legit players fight this even if it’s just showing the gamer tag before starting a game so after they get ya once they won’t anymore.

Yup,exactly but I guess he realized I’m not gonna quit which I made very obvious in my reply to the message he sent me from ANOTHER name he has in the top 15 and this morning around 6-7 am I woke up to my W.

8-10 names!?!? That’s just sad to care that much about a rank on a video game that much to cheat your way up the leaderboard smh don’t get me wrong,I’m extremely competitive,ranked 90 as of now and care about rank myself but I’m legit as it gets like I’ve never even laid down a bunt to score which their is a trophy/achievement for that I do not have to prove it.

It is clearly obvious,you might as well quit tho I waited 72 hours 1 time outta the 2 times was talking to sds they was like opps sorry. Best thing you can do is find every 1 batting 140 eith a 5 Era playing with the yanks and Block those 8-10 accounts.

Does that work, though? It’s been my previous experience that blocking certain gamertags disallows messaging between the two parties, but doesn’t stop you from getting matched up with them to play an online game.

But I could be wrong about that if something has changed in that regard.

Nope,you’re 100% correct bro. Blocking only cuts off contact but not matching up with them. If SDS can’t fix the freezing but thought of a alternative like banning them,showing gamer tags before games or etc it would completely fine to me. Many sports games have had stuff they couldn’t fix but thought of alternatives.

Dude definitely has atleast 3 accounts I was added to 3 party’s within a minute and the worst part is…. Blocking them won’t prevent matching up again! I play on Legend only and I stop matchmaking at minimum 1750 so my opponent has to be a decent amount over .500 atleast man,competitive games are fun. I told him Ima leave my ps5 on,I have other stuff I can do including a series x and I could always gasps go outside 🧐 he probably checks the forums too since cheating to have a name ranked 4th and 13th means so much to him… Like I said in my response after he said I might as well quit…. It’s a date [censored] I wish we could see the gamer tag of the person we’re playing before starting a game smh

Im 71-12 and a win away from the top 100 so of course I’d run into a freezer smh plus I stop my matchmaking bars minimum rating at 1750 so I get some good games. I’ll never understand why people do stuff like this in games smh he also had the gall to message me basically bragging about it
