Those people are call Center Swingers they dont swing at anything. Thats why i always like having a straight fastball to dot them up with. some of them no matter what dont come off it lol those make for very easy games and that might explain the .500 win percentage. also with them don't get fancy just keep the ball out the middle pitch to contact and paint some corners easy win.

Had guy tell me after he lost that I need to learn how to win by throwing strikes and some other not so nice things.

I said you need to learn to win by not swinging so much.

Sounds like you probably just ran into a good player. Did you check their record to see if they were good or not? A lot of players try to hit the black but it’s easy to be patient waiting for something closer to the zone especially since even balls on the black are a 50/50 chance at even being called a strike to begin with. I’m guessing you were throwing a ton of sliders down and away?

He had 216 loses. But he played like he was 58-2. Weird. Maybe he was better but it didn't add up the way he played.

Those losses could be from playing at higher difficulty and if y’all playing veteran easy to lay off those pitches

Whats the difference of why mods aren't used in rated games vs dd?

I ran into a guy last night whose record wasn't an indication of his play and he jumped out on me 8 to 0 in first inning with less than 2 outs. Might of been no outs, no matter what I threw he crushed it in/out of zone. This has never happened to me this year. I was sitting there stunned and confused as to what was happening. I quit game in 1st inning. He was a playing like a Aimbot God. Makes you wonder.. Crazy how it plays out.

What’s the incentive in online rated to use a mod? Fake leaderboard and no rewards

May be a strategy they use too. If my opponents team has a average to weak bullpen but a good to elite SP my goal becomes to drive the pitch count up because I play on Legend and good pitchers force a lot of outs even against good/perfect timings that’s perfectly squared up so I apply a few rules. No swinging at first pitches, only aggressively swing at edge pitches with 2 strikes because I trust my eye to not swing at dirt balls, high pitches, sliders breaking out the zone and etc when up 3-0 in the count im guaranteed to not swing at the next 2 pitches and before ya know it,pitch count is up. Sounds like he was pretty disciplined and trying to get ya pitch count up.

Yea I try to incorporate that somewhat first time though lineup try not to swing until 2 strikes then see pattern of first pitch down the pipe

This year's version plays better than last year, however during online game play there is still I slight delay when inputting the swing command. I'm trying to figure out whether it's the setting on my monitor. 98 mph and above with movement is almost impossible to hit. By the time I position the PCI and then swing the pitch is already in the catcher's mitt. 1st 40 games were a breeze then all of a sudden my timing went haywire. I was playing someone recently and he was pitching Montgomery from the Yankees. His cutter and his sinker in were virtually impossible to hit. Took some swings on practice mode immediately after losing and I hit 4 homers on 10 swings against Montgomery with the pitches in the same location. SMH....

Yes swing timing and hitting off on PS5. Don’t mess with your monitor it’s not that hitting is inconsistent.

Exactly @HustlinOwl_PSN some people think they should swing at every strike meanwhile I’m watching meatballs past by if it’s a high tier pitcher. It’s a great strategy my guy, especially if ya play on Legend (maybe HoF too,idk how that plays) as I’m 23-0 right now and keeping tissues on standby because that first L is gonna hurt lol
