Can we please get the full options in Franchise mode when we want to do Player Lock? You guys have for some reason made it incredibly difficult to simply select uniform and stadium before entering a player lock game. You currently have to go into Play Full Game to set uniforms and stadium and hope you’re not batting first (because in-game substitution screen when you’re hitting doesn’t let you utilize player lock at all, very pointlessly frustrating).

Also, bring back Game Watch options! Result Fielding, Result All, etc was way better for an immersive experience!

Quit glazing the DD crowd and fix your game please!

SDS really f-ed this up

They DID add things this year that seemingly take far more space than adding a line or signs on a wall.

We did not at any point ask for aliens and dinosaurs. We have asked for bullpen and wall lines, you know, things that are part of uhhhhh BASEBALL.

I’m convinced SDS just doesn’t care. We have 3 YEARS OF FORUMS talking about moving bullpens and putting signs/boundary lines on outfield walls. Who is getting paid at SDS to pretend they care about what we want. Yet another year of money wasted on my part. This game is a 100% carbon copy of MLB 23. Absolutely embarrassing. I really wish EA (yes, them) and 2k could get back in the market now. MLB the Show is dead

None of the training options are giving me option to increase attribute caps? Anybody got insight ?

Oh I’m fine with no Stadium Creator on PS4, but the Stadium Assignment option for the stadiums in the game should be there, literally no reason that it’s not other than just laziness at SDS.

The fact that they went to all the trouble to put in a Stadium Creator and Stadium Assignment option, but not include the Stadium Assignment option on PS4 even without Custom Stadiums, just shows SDS has completely lost it’s way. They are too focused on DD and money to be considered a good-faith baseball game creator anymore.

The fact that they cite agreements about music as to why there is no Sounds of the Show, but still kept the function for PS4 where the ultimate customization addition (Stadium Creator) doesn’t exist, just shows how little they know about what the gamer actually wants when it comes to customization.

It’s quite embarrassing. And the lack of Year to Year saves is a slap in the face to the Roster creating community, another aspect of customization they’ve killed or made defunct.

In addition, whatever happened to the player lock Game Watch options like result play? It used to be fun to actually watch every play in the field and the dugout, like MLB.Tv Condensed Games.

These dudes at SDS don’t deserve any of our money until they re-instate what made the game great for those who actually enjoy baseball simulation and aren’t just teens obsessed with pulling Diamond dynasty cards.

Can just 1,just ONE, developer please, give an update as to a few things in Stadium Creator:

1. NIGHT GAMES (projected patch anticipation?)
2. Home run boundary lines
3. warning track/dirt/turf options (this isnt that much of an ask, you already have the template for the etxtures in Metrodome)

Does ANYONE have an actual and real explanation as to why SOTS isnt available on next gen? Like something verified and maybe a prognostication as to where and when we cane expect to have a basic feature of this game? WHy should somebody pay for a PS5 when the PS4 version is actually better?

You can only create a franchise with a saved roster. You can not import a saved roster file into an already created franchise. That has never been an option

WHat shlt show this mode is. I can't even snap my stands correctly next to each other. Either it doesnt do anything at all or it zoom i tall the way to another part of the ballpark or forces a change in orientation. Why even have this mode? What a waste of money the ps5 was. SHame on SDS.

unfortunately thats what his gripe is about: Even with the names, we can't search for them. Every time you save a change and hit yes to upload to vault, another stadium gets added to vault, with no search option. Imagine being paid by SDS to create something so simple and completely flubbing it

DD is just a mode for streamers and Madden fanboys who like baseball. They could easily include so many other features and make just as much money

No I think it’s fair to say it’s quite easy to identify simple things that could’ve just as easily been included when designing the feature. Especially the vault. Like cmon

I mean, you tried...but for ALL the money your marketing team spent on hyping this mode up with commercials, it could’ve been spent on...idk...night game lighting? Actual field design customization options? Some sort of actual searchable vault like every other user-created/edit feature? PS5-specific SOTS? Customizable seats, deck levels, EDITABLE STADIUM TEMPLATES.

In other words, instead of releasing a broken hyped up feature to be smeared, actually build the game on PS5 instead of making it the newer pig with HD lipstick?

Seriously. Whoever is in charge of Stadium Creator and all the Feature Customization: Go to Walmart. Buy NBA 2k. Play MyLeague.

Take notes. THAT is customization, especially with an actual functioning SOTS feature. League/Division alignment. If I want the Braves to play in the NL West, by golly they better be able to be moved. If I want Truist Park to have red seats and a bright yellow outfield wall, then get to painting.

My money is already spent on the ps5 now. And I’ll keep playing this broken game stripped of many of its good features. But dear lord start patching soon

Apparently it’s in the agreement with Microsoft and MLB. That’s the consensus of other statements/tweets I’ve seen by people who seem considerably solid sources, but they could be wrong. But it’s a pretty wide known cited reason apparently

Short answer: no. Updated roster and franchise schedule. I made the mistake of viewing ps5 as a must-have,when all they did was take the PS4 build and speed up frame rate. Until they build the game on PS5, it’ll be just a yearly update. Stadium Creator is a joke too, so many basic things they left out. It’s cool conceptually but it doesn’t take a genius to innovate the idea that you should actually be able to build and edit stadiums, have a searchable vault, and have night games, at launch

They announced a while ago Y2Y saves wouldn’t happen this year due to a requirement for feature similarity with cross-compatibility to Xbox. They didn’t want you to use a RTTS player to keep earning things on 21 that would help them quicker in DD, in other words.
