I had about 600-700k a few weeks ago, invested all of it. I was down to 2 stubs before TA4 dropped. Am currently at 1.2 million after buying vlad sr for about 70k ish and Nate Pearson for 96k. As well as a few others I bought like Ps mantle and all stars larkin and Morgan and others. I still have 175 of a gold i bought at around 1000-1100 in hopes he goes diamond this week and 150 of a bronze player waiting to go silver maybe gold. I did get lucky and pull 5-6 diamonds from the packs I got from doing the exchanges in TA4. Headliners wainwright and Cj Abrams who I kept, LS scherzer, Kershaw and one or two others. all in all, I completed all the exchanges for TA4, made 700k and still have about 200k in investments for roster updates I got at qs price. I could finish Mookie if I wanted to but him nor Kershaw really excite me so I’m not locking stubs in just yet.

Seaver’s is decently quick in comparison, and if I remember so is gibsons.

Completing the NL also gets you a lot of useable players for your team besides Sheffield. You would also get tony Gwynn. Arenado at 3b or 1b, or as a pinch hitter. Same with mike Schmidt. Yellich is a great bench bat and can even pinch run with 75/75 speed and steal. You also get willie Stargell who absolutely mashes, he’s one of my best hitters. Plus you’ll get two bullpen guys in Kirby Yates and josh Hader. And you will get scherzer and Degrom, although scherzer is pretty much the only useable one online

I bought 65 golds last week at QS price, and a handful of 79 ovr silver anticipating TA stage 3. Sold a bunch last night after the POTMprogram dropped and made an easy 25K. Sold all of the catchers I had, and a lot of the SP and mariners. Made 20k+ alone off Wilson contraeres, buster posey, and Christian Vazquez.

FOTF gleyber, he only hits dingers off me. Oh and any player in moments or conquest on veteran with less than 60 power. Seems like in any pitching moment where you need to get x amount of Ks in x amount of innings without allowing x runs, on an 0-2 in the last inning I give up a bomb to a bronze or common.

Bellingers D is huge, and Gwynn is just slap hit city. I would use Gwynn in CF and trout in left, I think both would keep gold shield In secondary. I think Gwynn has a better arm and he is faster than trout. Belli in right because of the 99 arm and diamond shield. But that’s me. I have Gwynn in center and he is really good there. You can always rotate through a while and see what works best.

I would look at which collection rewards you would use. I have NL completed and am working on the big 3 in the AL. But I did NL central first (I packed yellich so that’s why). Then I packed bellinger so I bought arenado and did NL west so I can use tony Gwynn in center. Gwynn is a base hit machine. I have yellich and bellinger on my bench. I had Arenado on my bench as a PH and defensive sub, but he has since been replaced by NL East collection mike Schmidt who is better vs lefties and faster I think. Defensive is comparable. But I would really look at which rewards would benefit you more.

I bought Orlando Hernandez and Rodney for under 33k so I’ll take that as a win. Not buy any packs after getting altuve last night lol

Update- bought a headliner and got weiters so sold him for 72k so that makes up for last night I guess

I used him as my center fielder last year until griffey was an inning boss, and he basically just hit .370+ In over 500 at bats. I ended up buying him this year to use as a rental until the next live series events and I can win the next 5 or so games to earn him. He is just a base hit machine and I think I’ve stolen 9/10 or so with him this year online. He can turn a base hit into a single and a gapper is triple. His arm is sorta a damper in CF but he catches everything. I mean EVERYTHING. At this stage unless you can get Mantle, I think he’s a very useable and superior option for a lead off/CF, even later in the game as a speed/PR bench bat

Or the White Sox... they have 4 diamond prospects plus madrigal who has a 95 future stars as well. I mean they have a great farm system, and a lot of top prospects, but still
