Should not be able to bunt for hit no matter what just because you have 99 speed when in baseball does this ever happen

I’m very good a pitching so I can make it to the higher divisions but when I get there I can’t hit anything. I’ve tried practice mode and I hit fine there but when I get to online play I can’t hit. I’m either late or early on everything. When I do practice mode on legend I can time pitches up. I also shouldn’t have to play practice mode for hours a day just for the game to be fun. Safe to say you use zone hitting ? Are you a free swinger ? or one of those guys that wait to the last second ?

Yeah I use zone and I’m not really a free swinger definitely not someone with an eagle eye but I still take a good amount of pitches opposing pitchers usually hit the 100 pitch mark around the 7th
Most players have a pattern in which they pitch , the WS guys are much harder but even they do to a certain extent. For instance you face a guy and its your first game of the day or your just off a bit, so they throw you a few FB high in strike zone and you miss , now they think they got you and after a few innings your smoking the high heat.....its all about picking up patterns and making them change their game plan......using players with high contact and vision will help also. Try and focus on how they pitch you it may take a few innings I don't start hitting sometimes until the second time around the order. FYI I never do hitting practice. My RS average this year is .276. - 3 years ago I was at .201 , using zone and picking up patterns help me. Good Luck.

Why can’t you see the ball in day games. Doesn’t make sense

Yes they do; hitters have tendencies attached to them in their profiles, like the hot and cold zones.

Players that are good Enough can hit the ball anywhere in the field with any player. I’m just saying even tho the players in the game have tendencies doesn’t mean that’s how the person using them is gonna hit

I would always play the old road to the show when I wasn’t trying to play stressful DD games. But this year they completely ruined it. For some reason they decided to tie road to the show into DD make it so you literally have to play every single game and can’t progress if you don’t. From what I know u have to use the stupid perks to make ur guy better cause you cap out at 50. You have to pretty much play DD with ur 65 overall player to get the better perks, and the call up system is terrible. I play in spring training lead my team in every major stat then after get optioned back down??? Like what. I like the new two way stuff and the kinda cut scenes I guess you could call them. But come one SDS u took the good parts out. I don’t wanna play 162 games to have to get my guy better. I don’t wanna have to play DD to complete the stupid program. DD and RTTS should be completely separate. What were they thinking

I agree but after a certain inning people should be allowed to quit if they give up a bunch of runs early especially if facing someone they know is far better.

Yeah I get sometimes you have to but if it really comes down to that where u don’t have an extra 10 minutes you shouldn’t have started the game and you can close app if really necessary

They should make a rule in this game where u can’t quit after the 7th or something like why are people quitting in the top of the 9th just play it out.

I agree gameplay has been way better my only problem is online and offline pitch speeds are still different which is annoying when trying to practice

This has been a problem for years pitch speeds offline so slower than online. What’s the point of practicing on legend if it’s not even gonna be the same online

Yeah ik the servers suck and they need to fix that before anything but Besides that the gameplay is really nice to me at least and I was just thinking of ways to improve it. I thought of an idea to add a mental rating to players since baseball is such a mental game. An example when this would be used in a game is a guy tries to lead off the inning with a bunt for a hit the third basemen moves in on his own cause they just tried a bunt. Or certain outfielders move based on who’s hitting. Which is different from a complete shift.

I’m talking more the times you clearly hit it over the outfielders head and the only go halfway. Even if it’s caught if the outfielder turns his back u can at least be at the next base.

How many people in the mlb you see successfully check swing multiple times an at bat
