I feel like it wouldn't even be that hard to make the crowd sound more realistic. Like, put a microphone in a stadium. There should be a difference between a regular season game at the Trop vs a postseason game in St Louis. It would make a big difference in how realistic the game feels.

I agree. Bigger bases. No shifts. Make it worth while to put solid defenders on your team. Instead of making it so a player who is rated "56" on defense can make a ridiculous play every time a ball is hit their way.

There should be wind involved if you choose, affecting pop flies and home runs. You should see players' breath when you choose october in boston or april in Colorado, make it tough to hit homers in those conditions. Make pitchers get tired faster in july in Atlanta. Rain should make it harder to control pitches. Make fog an option so it's hard to see the crowd in deep center field from home plate. Little things that improve the game.

Even if someone doesn't quit, which is very rare, the game freezes. I've tried dozens of times, and I've yet to finish 1 single game. The odds of even making it past the lineup selection are astronomical.

I agree that it could be worse. But it could also be better. The goal should be to make the best game possible. They're always going to get the die hard baseball fan's money, but they could convince the casual fan to buy if the product is top notch. Probably won't ever happen, but a man can dream.

They literally just put out the same game every single year, and I keep buying it because I love baseball and want updated rosters. But there needs to be some competition to force Sony to make a better game. You can play mlb the show 14 and there really isn't a big difference all the way up to 22. Some of the game modes are pretty cool, but gameplay wise they just collect your $60 and re release the same game every year.

I've tried to play 3 vs 3 five or 6 times, have yet to successfully start a game. Tried 2 vs 2 twice, was able to actually play once, then once someone quits, which is inevitable when there are 4 people, the game ends. It should at least let you finish against the remaining player.

They haven't done much to improve the crowd in the last 5 (or 10) years. I want the crowd to be just like real life. Screaming and going into a frenzy during clutch moments, making the hitter nervous (maybe shaking the camera a little). Reacting off the crack of the bat. Not waiting for a ball that is clearly going foul to land before they stop acting like it's a home run. Individual people heckling hitters (nothing obscene). Booing and leaving the stadium early when the home team is getting smoked. Maybe the occasional fan getting tackled by security for running on the field. Just little details that make for a cooler experience, instead of the same exact thing year after year since 2014.
WBC TOURNAMENT WOULD GO HARD!
Crowd reaction
Curious! How many people want the bigger bases?
Let weather be a factor
Fix searching so it doesn’t freeze every time before you get into the game
Almost no change in the last 8 years
Almost no change in the last 8 years
Can't play 2v2 nor 3v3 plus some other issues
Want a more realistic crowd
