oh F off. you are the reason this games is hard. everyone needs an uber competitive [censored] measuring game. go play real baseball if you need a challenge. my real life is a challenge enough. cant a game just be fun? id like to sit down and play a game that doesn't cause me to have high blood pressure.

i wish we had competition. THIS is what happens when there is no competition. just like madden. [censored]. pure and utter [censored]. 2k5 was so good that EA got scared and just bought their profits by eliminating competition. i so wish someone would make a good baseball game. that is the only way this will end. we are screwed boys. SDS doesnt care 1 bit about anything other than profits.

why do you think we have the same announcers and graphics for the last 5 years? all their resources go into DD and how they can screw us out of money. showdown is a CPU game that you have to pay 1000 stubs to play, and its hard as hell, so you fail, get mad and pump another quarter into the machine. its egregious.

um. spending real money on a game is an IRL choice.

I have disposable income because of my IRL choices. don't worry lil fella, one day, if you make proper IRL choices, you'll grow up and get a job that actually pays more than 5.75 per hour.

and I didn't spend "real" money I spent stubs. you know, the things you get for free for playing. but if it makes you mad that some ppl can afford to spend all the money they want on what they choose, then you need therapy. IRL therapy.

lastly for the ppl who think like this fella, playing this game to earn this card for free would take a very long time. when you get an actual career you will come to find that time is money. spending x hours is time spent not earning money. it becomes cheaper to actually use real money than to donate your time to a game when you could be earning real money.

some ppl are stuck in mediocrity. luckily, it aint me.

no man. you're not alone. last year i made it to the high 700s very quickly. this year in the 200s i can't hit a [censored] thing. this game has gotten exponentially more difficult in terms of hitting. my pci is all over the place and i KNOW i haven't changed my approach. I've had to just walk away on numerous occasions because this game is a royal POS right now. i have no idea what SDS's end game is. because right now i have no interest in playing RS. typically i play a ton. i have no idea why they cater to the hardcore when by far most of the users are like us. average. i just wanna play some baseball [censored] it. not go crazy. they've made it far too hard for the casual gamers and they seem to like it that way. not sure where to go from here....super mega baseball 3 is coming's out soon but that isn't really like the show. being stuck inside just makes me play more which in turns defeats my attitude like yours.

i cant hit anything online is RS. im normally in the high 700s. somewhere in the slightly above average demo.

this year so far i am 6-3 i think. i cant hit a thing....on 200!!! i dont know what's going on but im disgusted with them trying to make this as hard a possible for all the super freaking expert players while the vast majority are not expert players. they dont care one bit. bunch of a holes.

This game is as easy as you want it to be offline. If you’re playing other people online, it’s not going to be consistently easy. That’s just not how playing other real people works lol

lol, no it isn't. offline pitchers rated 63 can dot the corners and never throw down the center "mistakes". I make "perfect" pitches and they hang. GTFO of here. Ive been playing this game since it was made by 989 studios. I know what's what, and this game is not right.

this has got to be a joke. first pitch post patch, ball goes to the wall, mantle goes for it, doesn't attempt to catch it and won't pick it up.

I just cannot take the ineptitude of this company much longer. they are an embarrassment.

SDS is not a group of top shelf video game developers. why does everyone think these guys are competent?

the last 5 years the game is the exact same with tweaks to hitting. mostly bad.
pitching is the EXACT same.
graphics the same.
announcers the same.

what's different??? oh that's right. Diamond Dynasty. Prices of packs have gone up. more things to spend your stubs on. they have done A LOT when it comes to collecting our money. they excel at that. however making a good video game? nope. this group is wildly under skilled. why do you think we have the same bugs year in and year out and have 34 patches? these guys are the guys who graduated with a 60 average. meanwhile the kids at the top went to Naughty Dog and Respawn.

stop complaining. they aren't good enough to fix this mess.

Are you joking? I threw a perfect game with that 84 AJ Burnett against the cpu without even trying. It’s weird if the CPU can get more than 2 hits in a full 9 inning game. Also have to purposely get out just to end the games. And I would consider myself slightly above average at the game.

If you struggle that bad you need a lot of practice. Or you can go play outside of DD and adjust the sliders however you want.

never mind. you're missing the point entirely. I never said it was hard to beat the cpu.... it doesn't matter. you're right.

easy. stop caring about winning. just play and have fun enjoying baseball. this game has way too much RNG to take seriously.

The point I’m trying to make is that a lot of the major complaints from last year they tried to address. Have we all forgotten the 500 billion rage posts about lineouts from last year? Perfect perfect was an attempt to fix that and I think they did a passable job.

People complained about yearly cards incessantly, and they scaled back SS.

Diamond fielders had insane range and made the lineouts worse, and they tried to scale it back which is what I think caused the problems.

The Marlins and Phillies got shafted on cards last year, and they got great ones to start this year.

so a company (sony) who has unlimited resources has a major issue with a game and you're ok with "passable". whoa dude. drink some more kool aid.

once you lick the lollipop of mediocrity, you'll suck forever.

this is why this game will never be part of any competitive play for prize like madden.

this boils down to lack of skill and creativity of the devs. truth is, they just aren't that good. we've gotten the same game for about 5 years in a row with just tweaks to hitting and fielding. pitching is left untouched, same for commentary and graphics. then when the game comes out, they meddle with it all year long because they realize what a POS they released. then in the spring we all go YEAH! new game new features! then it comes out and its the same mess every year with the same bugs and the same broken patches. but SDS is a group of highly skilled innovative artists right?

its the people. dont kid yourself. they aren't good enough to deliver thats why the show will NEVER be in a truly competitive space like madden and call of duty. too much random math that usually makes no sense because they ppl that make the game are bottom barrel video game talent. truth hurts SDS huh?
