I've really enjoyed it but now wonder if I would enjoy Franchise even more. I like being able to get through a season quickly, play important moments, scout, draft, trade, sign, etc....

So I am here to ask... Do the same sort of opportunities exist in Franchise? I don't want to spend weeks getting thru a season but I don't want to not actually play at all.

How do you guys play Franchise and what options do I have to do what I enjoy? Is it a better game mode that M2O?

I've pretty much switched to March To October and RTTS now. Not much fun to play a game where i am either getting no hit or my opponent quits when I hit one out. It was a good run 2025.

I know if I tried to get Elly and actually did it after going through this crazy gauntlet i'd end up going like 1 for 82 with him.

These are all great ideas but until SDS can somehow claw money out of players for RTTS it will continue to be near the bottom of the list in terms of priority.

it's extreme for a reason and if you don't have the time or the ability to complete it then that geeked out 99 card isn't going to be the difference in your ranked winning experience anyway. I'm not going to get the extreme card(s) and i'm not worried about it. I can't hit anything thrown by most of these high 99 pitchers now anyway. lol

Much like the Donaldson card i've already made peace with never having any of these.

Is this even worth spending time on? how stupidly extreme are we talking?

I can't really say my luck was terribly bad all year but I will say in the last several days i've opened dozens of BiaH cards with no diamond at all. It seems my luck has gotten worse. Also i never have packed an Ohtani, Judge, or Witt all year.

Yeah it's ridiculous. I'm hard wired 5Gig fiber and had virtually no issues up until the last 3 weeks or so. Not I'm kicked during games about 20% of the time or my opponent is. They have surely reduced server capacity as the player base has gone down?

@Loneblackman_MLBTS I'm 50 and at the point now in Ranked that I just can't do anything with these high 99 pitchers. I'm a lowly 500 player so typically my games lately are maybe 6 hits combined and 2 or 3 runs (all homers) and a bunch of strikeouts. Honestly it's become quite boring.

THis week I decided to slide down to Online Rated and just play with the Royals. it has been incredibly satisfying. I'm not getting any rewards or much xp at all but i'm playing an actual baseball game with hits, base running, defense and strategy. It's been a blast. I wish more people were on it.

@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL Online rated is outside of Diamond Dynasty and you play with the live series of your chosen mlb team. no 99s just the actual live rosters. No 103 mph craziness, no 475 bombs every time you throw one over the plate. it feels like real baseball and feels so much less sweaty. Just fun... nothing really in rewards.

@MarinerMatt01_PSN I got on and played 4 games of Online Rated last night and had an absolute blast. ran into 3 quitters right off the bat but then played a full game vs the Mariners and lost 3-1. It actually felt like real baseball. Actually played defense and hit the ball into the field. I wish my Royals had more pop but it's fun. I'll stay on this mode for now I think. much more enjoyable than ranked at this point.

Yeah I was trying to throw 4S FB high and away with Kershaw this week and the pitches were not FB. they were big 12/6 curve ball looking things from my perspective. Very bizarre.

@MarinerMatt01_PSN Never played online rated but interested. I keep forgetting it's an option. I thinmk i'll give it a go. how's matchmaking? I'm in agreement with ranked. it's jumped the shark with strikeouts and dingers.
