Seems like it will be impossible to even complete the season XP path with how much they have nerfed XP. 15k daily xp cap is insane.

The sad thing is that I don’t actually mind spending money but when I don’t feel like the return is worth it than I don’t have much interest in spending money. I definitely spent a lot of money last year. The reason was because some of the cards were actually worth it. I’m definitely not spending a bunch of money for 89-92 OVR cards just so then I can collect a 99 card.

Maybe people have a problem because instead of being able to use the cards people want to use. That normally they might be able to get in a program or maybe that pack was in a program. Now they have to pay to use the card they want to use. There isn’t a single card in my lineup that I would actually like to play with. However I do use the cards because I’m not spending money on packs That Oneill Cruz, Juan Soto, Corbin Burnes, Yamamoto, Jackson Holliday, and Paul Skenes. I would like to have some of those cards on my team but I can’t because they’re in a pack. Even if they put one of those packs In the program I would feel like at least I had a shot at getting one of those cards, but since they’re not including the packs for those cards in the program. My only option is to buy a pack and gamble.

Exactly! Millionaire packs are just a way to make it so they don’t have to put packs in programs. All they have to do is put a millionaire pack in the program instead of a hyper series pack, or egg hunt pack.

Been playing DD since 14. The changes this year have made me think that maybe it’s time to stop playing this mode and go play franchise. SDS is ruining this game by being so stingy with XP and making all the cards you would want to use in packs. All while not including any of these packs in programs. With these changes I’m positive that the monthly award packs will be returning and make it so you can’t complete the lightning card without buying packs or buying these players off the market.

They’re making this game pay to win but in reality it will be pay to lose for them. As they will lose a ton of players. Last year was already bad enough for them but this year is taking it to a whole new level.

Sure you don’t care and I’m just complaining but that’s what these forums are for. To express our concerns so other players can voice their concerns in hopes that maybe devs will hear them. Overall I love the game this year. I love the gameplay but I don’t love the content.

they’re literally treating xp like 99 rewards right now. You can’t unlock reward early only the last week before next season when 99 reward is unusable without wildcard.

I’m wondering when we will see double xp packs.

I’ve been getting some weird exit velos today. PCI right on the ball with good. Did they nerf exit velocities in the most recent patch?

I was more just joking but if Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Tim Lincecum, or Manny Ramirez is one of the collection cards. I’m definitely getting collection done day one.

I’ll probably start with ripping free packs, Seeing what I can build with those packs, do storylines, maybe get started on ranked program, and a little bit of conquest/ta grind.

I’m money spent. I know it’s frowned upon but I love baseball and play the game year round. However due to the sets last year I stopped playing after set 3 pretty much.

Barry Bonds will never be in, but AROD and Manny (along with others) should be in the Hall of Fame. Baseball didn't want to put an asterisk next to a period so they crucified a group of players. Hopefully, one day they get in and MLB gets the rights by default.

We never thought Sosa or McGwire would be in the game either. Maybe one day Barry changes his mind or gets nagged by a family member to give his rights up to SDS so he could be in the game. One could dream.

Just started playing also after a few months hiatus. I can finally play ranked seasons with any card I wan. Heck might not even buy the new game if there are not any new legends I want to use or if the grind is a 2nd job.
