Yea, trade difficulty would have to be leveraged so the gamer can decide how easy it should be to dump that contract. My pref is that SDS would take a choose your adventure approach to the game instead of removing features -- ie allow 'advanced contracts' as an option when setting up a franchise so we can get back the show24 contract system with club/player options and front/end loaded deals

I 100% agree with you @ruffner008_psn. I'm really surprised they didn't put "advanced" contract experience behind a feature flag in franchise settings. Why remove all the goodness entirely when there is an established precedent for using on/off flags to streamline things.
I think the same logic applies to "Untouchable" players in Show '26. This should be a franchise config setting to turn on and off, along with trade difficulty.
I go back to '24 the show and import players personally. In terms of Franchise mode, that was peak imo.
I'm new here. On what channels is SDS getting feedback that says "streamline things" vs. keeping features that may seem complicated to the casual player but beloved by those who want to work with more complex scenarios. From a product perspective, why not provide both if you already invested in the code to support "simple" and "complex" scenarios?

Feature Request: Enable users to search for players that are on the trade block. Why? This would allow front office to filter for players with specific qualities / attributes that are also on the trade block, rather than paging through team after team in the Trade Hub.
How I'd like it implemented:
In "Player Search" experience, enable a flag for "Trade Block" similar to "Free Agent".
