I just experienced this myself. It is very frustrating. In retrospect I was trying to determine what the underlying system was doing to me, and think maybe there is a normalization factor going on? I.E. as your stats get better and better the systems works harder and harder to fit you into some kind of bell curve?

I just want my stubs back for this freaking 1st inning showdown I've wasted 2,500 stubs on. Centering up balls for 3 innings over and over again (at "Rookie" difficulty) and I can't even get a hit on the first challenge. I verified by going into batting practice on Rookie level and it's insane, count the number of hits you get....I think i had 2 hits after 50+ good cuts (Kolten Wong vs Kenley Jansen).
