This may have been a question that was already answered but when the 2nd inning program comes out do we still earn XP from games towards the 1st inning program?

No, once the inning is over it will be locked apparently (including any conquest maps/showdown involved)

That sucks. Want to earn the remaining packs left in the 1st inning program. I might be able to do that within the remaining days of the program.

I did notice they put an expiration date on the showdown this year. Last year the showdown could be completed after the inning was over so there was no rush to do it. Same with Conquest maps I believe so those are 2 new changes.

Otherwise -- game earned xp will not apply to previous innings as per their usual set up.

I'm assuming the moments and collections can still be done after the fact. I still need further confirmation on the MP missions (Online wins, etc) -- last year they stacked so if you didnt do any online wins for a few innings you could get 10 and get credit for all 3 innings at once.

You won't be able to anything after the fact. This is directly from their last news article "Be sure to complete the 1st Inning Program prior to May 7 because this year you only have a limited time to complete programs, and when they’re gone they’re gone!".

Can't really say I'm a fan of this. It always irked me that I couldn't go back and get 300 stars without online play and now you can't do anything at all after the fact. Not worth crying in my Wheaties over, but still felt like posting

I'll complete the 1st inning bosses sometime this week.

I've gotten a good amount of Ballin packs from all of the conquests. I didn't do any of the starter or Jackie maps yet, but I'm done with USA, East and Central (about 75% done with west). All golds, but I can't complain about the amount of rewards. The games don't yield much but ah well.

Mariano Rivera has been lights out for me this year. As for a starter, I've got Thor as my #5 (so he gets most of my starts in conquest) and he's been very good so far.

I have spent in the past, but never this early. I give time for the market to settle down and to see what I get in the free packs before figuring out what's needed to complete the live series collections. Not sure if I'll do that this year, but time will tell.

I had a ton of trouble with the showdowns last year. So far this year, I'm having very good luck with the TA showdowns. For this one, I failed my first attempt, but I had an awful draft and I wasn't being patient.

My one and only diamond is Nick Anderson from a regular pack from conquest. At least that gave me bullpen depth. So far, I've struck out on all Ballin packs

I do enjoy the parallel system. Great job of taking the prestige idea from last year and making it so that everyone can participate. Now, I'm struggling with taking out Anthony Rizzo (close to lvl 3) for Pujols or Giambi and starting all over again. Great problem to have

Same here. 6 kids, 5 grandkids and 3 jobs doesn't give me much of a window to play :). If the past is any indication, it'll settle down in a few weeks.

Prices should go down as the season goes on. Diamonds in the high 80s usually settle in around the 5-8k mark.

LS Alvarez for a PH and 42 Adames
