[censored]!

I decide to try the 11th Inn Showdown.

Since it's only 500 stubs and I am sitting on 3.5M; I decide to go into the Final Boss down 15-0.

I end up getting a few left handed and a few right handed batters, and I see the boss is Jansen.

I end up losing 15-13. That's fine. No biggie.

I try again, this time stating a lefties and jump ahead down 15-0. Again; I lose to JANSEN 15-12.

I figure since most of the mini missions/Bosses are on Rookie; I'll play out.

Again I draft ALL Left-handed hitters except for Prime Thomas and Awards Pudge.

I get to the last Red Boss before the Main one and draw Greg Maddux.

Now, I have trouble hitting him. Don't know why. But I do.

So I decide to go into the Final boss down 15-10.

Now mind you I have all lefties, except for 2 batters. Even my bench is lefties.

I hit start and go to enter the Final Boss and NOW it tells me that it's Awards Kershaw!

What in the actual [censored]!

Kershaw happens to be one of the only other pitchers I have trouble hitting because if his [censored] floating curve ball.

Needless to say, I lose 15-12.
I got 2 [censored] runs on 3 [censored] hits because EVERY out was a whiff on a [censored] curve ball.

I knew it was coming. I sat in it all game, and yet out of the 20 curve balls he threw, I missed EVERY [censored] ONE!

I AM BEYOND PISSED!

I said to myself the other day that the next time this game pulls some kind of [censored]; I'M DONE!

Not that anyone cares,; but the game has been deleted, I'm not buying it EVER AGAIN, and to make sure I don't go back and redownload/buy it again; the PS4 is being sold!

I've bought a few bosses I missed, they are in the lineup, but honestly, I accomplished more than I ever thought and it was a great ride.

Right now I'm at 135 Stars. I have EVERYTHING but the Collections to complete.

After I complete the stat missions, Conquest, and Showdown; unless they release more Player Programs; I'll probably cap out at 400-459 Stars.

After that I'm either done completely with the game this year or I'll venture over to the acct I made today.

Me personally..... I'm not sure I'll be buying a PS4, since this is the only game I currently play right now.

I can see spending $400+ just to play MLB The Show.

I'll probably stick with Rhe Show until it's no longer available on the PS4 and that will be the last video game I'll ever play.

I know this is the last Inning. And it will last way past when 21 drops; but I wonder if they'll be adding more Player Programs to this inning?

Right now, not including Dailys; there enough to do to get you to 415 stars.

That gets you to the 4th Inn Boss Choice Pack.

I see there will be another Conquest map; so let's 'assume' we'll get Stat progress when it drops, so that's probably another 20-30 Stars.

If they don't drop anymore Player Programs; it's going to be a LONG grind to 900 (9th Inn Boss pack) as that will be all I need to finish.

However; no offense to anyone, but I CANT see myself playing enough to try to get 500+ stars after all thats available now is complete.

Thoughts?

I just can't play the cpu for the heck of it. I have to be working towards something.

Plus I want to see how close I can get to Awards Trout with just the grind non-sellable cards you get.

I thought they had two seperate maps for each set of cards?

With me getting all of TA to 100%, there's nothing left for me to do other than play online. And we all know that's not fun.

So with the game on sale; I decided to make another account and start over.

My goal is to see how long it will take, and if I can, to get Mantle and Awards Trout without buying stubs.

But I don't know where I should start.

Should I start with Conquest, since I'll get a TON of packs?

And if I start with Conquest; should I start at the beginning and work my way through using players from the same team (to go towards TA Innings) or should I do the RIB maps and sell off who I get and put those stubs towards players I need for the LS Collection?

Or should I knock out all the Moments first?

I'm leaning towards Conquest but don't know if I should just start with the Starter Map and work my way to the left (skipping the Big Map) or knock out some RIB maps.

Any suggestions?

They just dropped a stub sale. Looks like previous innings bosses won't drop for awhile.

Helping my kid out on his account. Trying to finish off his TN Moments so he can get Tatis.

Playing the Bo Bichette Moment where he has to hit 7XBHs and get 7RBIs in 7 games.

In the first game and on my 3rd AB.

Anderson pitching and he's thrown 10 straight balls in the dirt.

How are you supposed to get hits when the pitcher won't even scrape the strike zone?

All these outrageous Buy Orders in cards that I want to try and I don't feel like waiting that long/paying for a bench bat at best/over paying because everyone is flush with stubs.

Don't get me wrong; I don't want them limiting the amount you can earn; but EVERYONE that paid attention this year made a KILLING! (including me).

I've been sitting on two Daily Missions worth 9 stars for the last few days.

A 'Score 4 Gold IF Runs' and a 'Get 5 Extra Basehits'.

The IF Runs was at 2/4 and the XB Hit was at 3/5.

Was going to wait until Friday to get a quick 9 stars, but since this is probably the last Inning Program; I'm not in a rush.

Anyway, I hope into a BR game and not only do I complete BOTH missions; I also make it thru the end if the game without my opponent dashboarding.

When I get my new Dailies; I see that I got 3 HRs (5 Stars) and 4 Runs with Gold OFs. So I can still stack.till Friday is I want.

Guess that's my 'luck' for the week.

And made 1M in stubs. Add that to my previous amount and I'm at 2.7M, with a 1M Buy Order in for Willie, and I'm set.

Think I may put in an order for Ted and Goose next. Maybe Chipper.

I'll eventually get a majority of them back as I still have 25 Conquest Maps that need done.

Only thing is I may need to spend some stubs to get back anyone that's over 100K if they don't drastically drop.

I figure if they end up bringing back previous WS rewards, people will take him to sell as he's probably the only one that will keep value.

Just wondering if I should put a Buy Order in for Chipper.

I have the stubs and I don't think they'll be releasing anything else worth buying.

I have Machado and J-Ram now. Was using J-Ram; but I am probably switching to Machado or at least putting Machado on the bench as a late game replacement.

Sig Series Chipper, Finest Machado, Awards Donaldson, or POTM J-Ram.

If I do that I'll probably play Cobb and Walker as lefty bats, Mantle as a switch, and the Jackie and Honus as righties. Unless I want more power, than I'll put Hornsby in.
